Snapped this at Mishima Oh Matsuri on Aug 15, 2023, when all the Dashis from different Mishima's area came alive together. The energy was electric, and I was blown away by the crowd’s passion. Changed my whole trip for this, and it felt so worth it!

"National Institute of Genetics" in Mishima City, Shizuoka The other day, on Saturday, April 5, 2025, a "Open to the public" was held for only one day a year. Visiting the site of about 650 cherry trees of about 230 types planted in the Inside the facility, lectures and exhibitions will also be held. At the shuttle bus stop that operated free of charge from Mishima Station, there was a long line at one point, and many people enjoyed visiting the site.
