Iijima Jinya ＼Tourist information for Iijima, Nagano Prefecture／ Iijima Jinya served as the magistrate's office for the shogunate-appointed administrators who governed much of the Inadani Valley under direct Tokugawa rule. Senninzuka Park Campsite ＼Campsite information for Iijimamachi, Nagano Prefecture／ This quiet campsite offers stunning, ever-changing views of the Central Alps reflected on the lake surface. Senninzuka Park is a nature park located in the Shichikubo district of Iijimamachi. In the Sengoku period there was a mountain castle called Kitayama Castle nearby. A legend says the castle fell to an Oda clan invasion and the soldiers who died there, along with their arms, were buried at this site. That is why the place came to be called Senninzuka, meaning "Thousand-Person Mound." This photo was taken in November at Mt. Eboshi in the Central Alps. When I looked up, the leaves were dyed colorfully and it was stunning. I love autumn when you can put various colors in one frame with just the leaves.

It is Mt. Eboshidake in the Central Alps in November. It is a satoyama that can be easily climbed, but the autumn leaves are splendid. The leaves were dyed autumn colors all over the place, so it was difficult to cut out the frame, but I am satisfied that I was able to finish the photo with a symmetry that makes use of the straight lines of the trees. I would be happy if I could beautifully capture the shapes created by nature!
