◆Suwa Shrine and History of the Mikata Stone◆ On the large stone enshrined in Suwa Shrine, there is a large hand mark on it, which is the origin of the hand-shaped stone. A long time ago, a messenger came to Izumo from Takamagahara, where eight million gods gathered, and urged him to return to the Great Kingdom. The Great Lord's order immediately agreed and surrendered, but his young son, Tateminakata Mikoto, did not accept it, and the judgment was broken, and finally the battle was fought against the Takemikazuchi of Takatengahara. Squid was defeated and fled, but Takemitsuchi pursued him endlessly and finally caught up with him in the land of Sawara. He surrendered, put a handprint on a stone beside him, and made a vow of return, and peace was established between the two gods. This place is called "Chase Pit". It is said that it is a stone that was made because Wu Yan Hammer came after the life of Ken Gomeikata.

◆Mibusawa Fudo Falls◆ It is a beautiful waterfall with a drop of about 17 meters and falls in a straight line. Since ancient times, it has been revered as sacred water, and has been used as a place for practitioners to practice and purify. Fudo Myo, who stands on the left facing the waterfall, is said to have been solicited from Mt. Narita in Shimousa Province in the eighteenth year of Kyoho (1733), and it is said that the waterfall attracted people's worship, and the festival was crowded with many Worshippers from nearby towns. Tradition of begging for rain also remains. The two stone Buddhas standing in front of the statue of Fudo Myō are Kongara Doji (left) and Seitaka Doji (right), which were erected to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the solicitation in 1934. At this time, the Silkworm Jade God (Golden Princess), the Matsuo Taseko Song Monument, and the Monument (Kitahara Shinzan Shosho) were also erected at the same time. ◆ Myojin Stone ◆ Myojin Stone is an oval-spherical boulder with a major axis of about 2.5 meters, a minor axis of about 1.8 meters, and a height of about 1.2 meters yen. I don't know how long it has been in this area, but it is thought that it was brought from the Ina Mountains by the flooding of the Mibuzawa River in ancient times. This rock has been revered by people since ancient times as a mysterious rock that is not frightened by large floods, even though it can be easily moved by the power of a child. Also, I don't know when it started, but it was surrounded by a Jade fence and was considered a sacred place of worship for Suwa Grand Shrine. The origin of the name is unknown, but it is said that when the Suwa Grand Shrine solicited the Suwa Daimyojin to this area, a shintai was enshrinement on this rock and a festival was held until the shrine (Mibuzawa Suwa Shrine) was completed. Since then, it has been customary to use this rock as a temporary enshrinement for the Shintai during the expansion and renovation of the shrine. ● Details of Myojin Stone ・ Request to customers who Use The people of the district take good care of this stone. ◆Hikoku Hiraka Momo Highway◆ The flower peach of Hikokudaira began in Heisei 9 when he purchased 15 original seedlings from Kiyonai Road in Achi Village and planted them around his home. (It is said that the flower peach of Kiyonaiji originated in the 11th year of the Taisho era, when Momosuke Fukuzawa (Yukichi Fukuzawa's son-in-law) brought back seedlings from Munich, Germany.) ) Impression by the wonderful red, white, and pink flowers of the peaches, I decided that I wanted to plant trees according to the Local landscape, so I planted trees extensively. Trees were planted on their own land and along roads, and trees were also planted on village-owned land on the side of the road. In Heisei 12, we received a "self-made community development project grant" and received cooperation from neighboring residents in planting trees and cutting undergrowth, and now more than 200 flower peaches have been planted. Every year, the scenery surrounded by beautiful flowers and peaches has become a popular area. The name of Hikokudaira is derived from the store name of its founder, Masaru Kubota. ◆Toyooka Iris Garden◆ The Iris Garden is located on a Takadai hill overlooking the Central Alps in the middle of the river terrace. I had been growing various flowers as part of my hobby since around 1938, but when I Visiting the site of the Lauris Garden in Aoki Village, I became fascinated by the variety of irises such as color, size, and shape of the irises cultivation there, and I started purchasing bulbs. Later, as the number of cultivation varieties exceeded 100, the planting space became too small, so it was relocated to the current farmland of 30 acres. There was a request from the village to open the park as a tourist park, and in 2002 I obtained a qualification as a landscaping coordinator, and in 2003 I started Open to the public as an iris garden. Iris Cultivation is a plant that does not like high temperatures and humidity, and there are many occurrences of diseases, and it is difficult to manage because it needs to be replanted and replaced once every three years, but we continue to Cultivation that it would be nice if people who visit it could feel peace when they see the flowers blooming at the end. Currently, about 5,000 irises of more than 200 species and more than 300 species of Flowers in addition to irises are in bloom, making it a spectacular flower garden.
