Lets discover the feudal lord era of Toyama. Toyama Castle situated in the center of Toyama City. It was actually built in 1543 by the local feudal lord Sassa Narimasa. Unfortunately, the castle keep was dismantled during the Meiji Restoration. Over the years, the castle underwent several renovations and reconstructions, the latest in 1954. Today, the castle is a top tourist attraction, offering visitors a unique opportunity to learn more about Japan’s feudal history.

The white tulip standing out amongst a sea of red tulips is a stunning sight. A visit to Toyama Nyuzen flower field makes it an unforgettable experience.

In this photo, I removed the tulip and rape flower fields and made the remaining snow of Mt. Komagatake the main feature, so it became a "spring duet". It is Toyama City in spring, surrounded by the mountains of the Alps. Embracing the snow, the towering Mt. Tsui was magnificent. The scars of the Noto Peninsula earthquake have not yet healed, but we pray for a speedy recovery.

It is a night cherry blossom illumination of Fugan Canal Water Park. Drawing on the nature of Toyama and the history of the Fuiwa Canal, this space is an oasis for looking at and creating the culture and future of the region. The night breeze is pleasant, and the cherry blossoms are in full bloom! Tomorrow, will we be able to see the snow-capped Mt. Mountain?

This time, I made a reservation half a year ago, so I was able to stay lodging in a 200-year-old gassho-zukuri minshuku, and thanks to that, I was able to fully enjoy the nostalgic original scenery of Japan. In addition to the illumination at night, the quiet early morning walk, which is only possible for those who stayed at the lodging, was exceptional.

Kurobe Dam is packed with a lot of history in its construction This is the Kurobe Dam on the border of Toyama and Nagano prefectures. It is famous for overcoming various difficulties during construction. 10 minutes by electric bus to the dam and 15 minutes walk from there. A superb view awaits you ?

It is the Northern Alps covered with snow in late autumn. It is a sight seen from a mountain trail called the Shimono Corridor that straddles Toyama and Nagano prefectures. This mountain trail is made by carving out a precipitous cliff, and the mountains seen from it are steep and beautiful. It is a scenery where you can feel winter and autumn at the same time.

This is a photo from near the summit of Mt. Asahi in the Northern Alps in autumn. The plants and trees were colored by the morning sun, and a fantastic scenery could be seen. When you butterfly flower it, the scenery changes all at once!

It was when I climbed Mt. Asahi in the Northern Alps. When I looked at the map after arriving at the tent site, there was a place with a nice name called Yuhigaoka, so I stretched my legs. It was a wonderful sight that could not be defeated by the name.
