Niikappu Tourism Association

Long time no see. I would like to introduce (^^)/ a park called Hangankan Forest Park in Niikappu, which is recommended for the coming season The Judge's Forest Park is a large rock wall with a vast site area of about 66 hectares. ●Campsite ●Field Athletic ● A promenade where you can stroll through the primeval forest of broad-leaved trees ● Plantain trillium growing in large clusters around May --Judge's Cape where you can overlook the endless Pacific Ocean and urban areas and so on! The name "Judge's Palace" was given based on the following legend: "There is a sad legend that about 800 years ago, Judge Minamoto Kuro Yoshitsune fled the persecution of his brother Yoritomo and fled to the land of Ezo, built a mansion in this critical place, and rested himself, and there is a sad legend that Pirikamenoko, who fell in love with Yoshitsune, left the world against the opposition of his parents and threw himself from here." Judge's Pavilion = It means the place where Judge Yoshitsune Minamoto Kuro built the building. It is also said that "in the 9th year of Kanbun, the hero of Shibechari, Shakshine, left a sad story of being murdered, and at the end of the Edo period, the shogunate's meeting place was located." It's romantic to think that a historical figure might have stood in the same place. It takes about 40 minutes to go around the promenade, but you can take a walk or do a trail run while admiring the precious flowers and wild birds that live in the untouched nature. At the end of the promenade, Cape Judge, where you can overlook the endless Pacific Ocean and the urban area of Niikappu, is a must-visit spot. The Sunset over the Pacific Ocean seen from Cape Judge is one of the best views in Hidaka! The powerful orange color of the Sunset is powerful and sinks into the sea! (^^) I think you can feel the splendor of nature that cannot be created by man-made objects, such as the speed of the passage and the gradation of orange and the darkness of the night. By the way, at Niikappu Hot spring Hotel Hills in the town, you can enjoy the spectacular view while taking an open-air bath! (^^)! It is also recommended to play or take a walk in the Judge's Palace Forest Park, and then go into the Hot spring to sweat it out and watch the Sunset go down (*^^*) 【Judge's Pavilion Forest Park】 Address: Niikappu Takae (along National Route 235. About 3 minutes by car from the Roadside Station. ) Opening hours: The park is open 24 hours a day, all year round (campgrounds are open from late April ~ end of October) 《Inquiry》 Town planning group, Planning Division Phone: 0146-47-2498 (0146-47-2193 for campsites) E-mail:teijyu@niikappu.jp

Nakashibetsu Tourist Association
Nov. 5, 2023
Nice to meet you, everyone! This is the Nakashibetsu Tourist Association. This is my first posting on COOL JAPAN VIDEOS, so this time I would like to introduce and appeal of Nakashibetsu Town in Hokkaido. Thank you in advance! Hokkaido Shibetsu DistrictNakashibetsu Town is a town with a population of 22,524 (as of the end of September 2023 (Reiwa 5)) located in the eastern part of Hokkaido. Nakashibetsu Town in Hokkaido is blessed with nature, beautiful pastures and mountains, and agriculture such as dairy farming, Bareisho, sugar beet, and daikon is thriving. Nakashibetsu Town, which boasts one of the largest producers of raw milk in Japan, produces a lot of milk, ice cream, cheese, etc., and is gaining popularity. The climate is inland climate, and snow cover is relatively low in Hokkaido. In summer, the average temperature is around 20 degrees Celsius, and in winter, the average temperature is around minus 10 degrees Celsius. Next, we will introduce popular tourist attractions in Nakashibetsu Town, Hokkaido! ●Kaiyodai Observatory The 330-degree horizon seen from the "Kaiyodai Observatory" on a plateau at an altitude of 270m is spectacular! It is a spot where you can experience the "roundness of the earth". It is also popular because you can see the Hokkaido heritage "lattice-shaped windbreak forest of Konsen Plateau Lattice-shaped windbreak"! This huge windbreak was created across Nakashibetsu Town, Shibetsu Town, Betsukai Town, and Shibecha Town, and the total area of windbreak forests in the four towns is about 12,000 ha (about 2,500 times the size of Tokyo Dome). The full extent of the windbreak can only be seen from an airplane. In 2000 (Heisei 12), astronaut Mamoru Mohri took a video from the Space Shuttle Endeavour showed a lattice-shaped windbreak, so it became a hot topic as "an artificial object visible from space". We also recommend the gourmet "Kaiyodai Observatory Happy Honey Soft Serve Ice Cream" and "Siretoco Donuts" that can be eaten at the café in the observatory! Please enjoy it when you visit. * The café is open from late April to the end of October. ● Milk Road The "Nakashibetsu TownNorthern Road Route 19", a straight road with a total length of about 6 km, is one of the tourist attractions called "Nakashibetsu Milk Road" because of the tanker trucks that carry milk. Touring while looking at the magnificent meadows that spread around the road is popular, and it is also popular with motorcycle riders. ●Mutsu Pasture "Mutsu Pasture" was started when Masanori Hata, a writer known for his animal lover nicknamed "Mutsugoro-san", was attracted to the Hokkaido horse "Dosanko" and raised two horses. At Mutsu Pasture's "Hidamari Equestrian Club", you can experience horseback riding where you can communicate with the horses more deeply than at a normal ranch! It starts with brushing and saddling, and the staff slowly moves through the forest and grassland while controlling the horse without pulling it. You will be carefully instructed before departure, so beginners can rest assured! ●Midorigaoka Forest Park Campground It is a park with an area of about 57 hectares, including bungalows, free sites, bike sites, playground equipment, and a bird observation center. On the 6 km long forest road, you can also enjoy forest bathing while looking at the Shiretoko mountain range. 【Opening Period】Campsite: May 1st ~ October 31st In addition, the "Nakashibetsu Airport Information Center" in Nakashibetsu Airport provides information on accommodation facilities from information around the airport. There is also a car rental window on the first floor. Please feel free to use it! Introducing the photos posted on "Everyone's Post"! This is a pickup post of the inbound tourism information SNS "Cool Japan Video". Today, I would like to introduce Mr. Tackle's post "Mt. Fuji from the campsite exclusively at the foot". It is a powerful photo that you can feel even the surface of Mt. Fuji. "Fumoto Soura" is located at the foot of Fujinomiya City, Shizuoka Prefecture in the Tokai region, and is a campsite where you can overlook Mt. Fuji. The reason for its popularity is the free site where you can drive right next to the tent in the vast grounds. Even if you do not have a tent, you can rest assured that there are accommodations such as cottages. Recently, it has become a hot topic as a sacred place for the popular anime "Yuru Can△". The campsite is only equipped with shower facilities, so if you want to take a bath, we recommend using the nearby hot spring facilities. ・Asagiri Onsen Kaze no Yu It is the closest to the campsite and you can also enjoy vanadium hot springs and meals. You can also use the bedrock bath free of charge. ・Tenmu no Yu It is a popular hot bath facility for returning from climbing Mt. Fuji and camping guests. The admission fee is as low as 400 yen for adults, and you can enjoy the medicated bath, cypress bath, and low-temperature sauna. Use of the campsite exclusively at the foot is by appointment only. You need to make a reservation on a specific date from the reservation form on the official website. It seems that it is difficult to make a reservation on consecutive holidays, but it seems that it is relatively easy to make a reservation on weekdays. ◆Exclusive campsite◆ 【Address】〒418-0109 Shizuoka Prefecture Fujinomiya City Roku 156 【Access】 ・Car Shin-Tomei Expressway Get off at Shin-Fuji IC and get off for about 35 minutes. ・Train Get off at JR Shin-Fuji Station, take the bus bound for Fuji 5th Station, get off at Asagiri Green Park stop, and walk 20 minutes
