The parking lot is about a 30-minute walk to the summit, so you can easily enjoy climbing and hiking. The view from the top is spectacular, and if the conditions are right, you can see Mt. Fuji floating in a sea of clouds. Don't miss the Astragalus azaleas, which bloom around the beginning of June! 【Crocodile Mound Sakura】 The 330-year-old Ipponzakura tree that blooms on the alligator mound was designated as a natural monument of Nirasaki City in the first year of Heisei. In the background of the towering cherry blossom trees, you can overlook Mt. Fuji and Yatsugatake, and it is also popular as a photo spot. When the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, they are lit up and you can enjoy a fantastic atmosphere. 【Takeda Hachimangu】 Takeda Hachimangu Shrine was founded in 822 AD and is associated with the Kai Takeda Family. 【Meiji Merchant House Nakase Residence】 The Nakase residence was built in Meiji 20 (1887) as the residence of Naokichi Yoda, a wealthy merchant who made a fortune as a kimono wholesaler. Since the trade name of Yoda Naokichi Kure Clothing Store was "Nakase", it is now called Nakase Residence. In 1988 (Showa 63) (1998), Matsuzaki Town purchased a mansion consisting of seven buildings, including the main house and a storehouse, and the main house is open to the public as an ethnic museum. The buildings are lavishly furnished, from timber to fine carvings and hardware, and you can get a glimpse of the life of a wealthy merchant at that time. In particular, the black plastered sea cucumber wall of the storehouse built in the main house can only be seen here in Matsuzaki Town.

Jukoku Pass It is said that the Jukoku Pass got its name because it saw ten countries (Izu, Sagami, Suruga, Totoumi, Kai, Awa, Kazusa, Shimousa, Musashi, Shinano and Goto< Oshima, Niijima, Kozushima, Miyakejima, and Toshima >). From the top of Mt. Nichikane, you can see Mt. Fuji to the north, Suruga Bay to the west, and Sagami Bay to the east. It seems that there have been many people who have tried to paint this vision with a paintbrush for a long time, but it is said that they could not stand the size and beauty of this project. There is a cable car ride to the top of the mountain and back. It is about one and a half hours from Himenosawa Park, and you can also visit it by trekking while enjoying nature. Azaleas are in full bloom in spring, a cool breeze blows in summer, ripple pampas grass ears flutter in autumn, and warm plateau sunshine welcomes you in winter. * "Dog Run in the Sky" has resumed on November 11, 2023! Ishibe Rice Terraces are located in the town of Matsuzaki, Shizuoka Prefecture, located at the western tip of the Izu Peninsula. The 370-sheet, 4.2-hectare rice paddies spread over an altitude of 120~250m are masonry terraced rice paddies that are rare in eastern Japan. It is a terraced rice field with a superb view overlooking Suruga Bay below, and on a clear day, you can see Mt. Fuji and the Southern Alps. In 2000 (Heisei 12), the 4.2 ha terraced rice fields that had been abandoned for cultivation and covered with thatch were regenerated and used as a starting point for village revitalization. In 2010 (Heisei 22), the "16th National Terraced Rice Fields (Senmaida) Summit" was held.
