It looks like the weekend will bring back more spring-like weather, so that’s a relief☺️ While a fine day is nicer for a walk, there are some unusual sights you can only see when it rains☔️ For example, rainwater streaming from a crack in the rock directly opposite Senga Falls can look like a small waterfall👀 You might think, “I came all the way to Shosenkyo and it’s raining,” but rain can reveal scenes and little discoveries you wouldn’t see otherwise. We hope you enjoy the many faces of Shosenkyo😊 We also have a recommended rosé that pairs beautifully with the spring season and its colors. The drooping cherry blossoms in Daeuda, Nara Prefecture, are called Matabei cherry blossoms because they are located on the ruins of the mansion of the warlord Goto Matabei. The tree is said to be about 300 years old. During the flower season, many visitors come from all over visit the country to see the cherry blossoms.

It is a cherry blossom scenery shining in the morning sun in the direction of Yoshino, Yoshino, Nara Prefecture, a famous place for cherry blossoms, in the direction of Kinpuzanji Temple Zaodo. I would like to take a leisurely photo while admiring the cherry blossoms, but around 10 a.m., there will be traffic jams with sightseeing buses and passenger cars, so I will go down the mountain early.

There is an equestrian statue of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the first president of the Republic of Turkey, in Oshima, Kushimoto Town, Wakayama Prefecture. The connection between Oshima and Turkey began with the wreck of the Turkish warship Ertugrul. For the shoot, I tried to combine the equestrian statue with the Kawazu cherry blossoms by devising the composition.

It is Jizo and cherry blossoms in Peace Park in Myoji, Katsuragi Town, Wakayama Prefecture. The park is a place of relaxation for the townspeople, and many people visit and enjoy cherry blossom viewing, especially during the cherry blossom season.

It is spring in Yaguchiura, Kihoku Town, Mie Prefecture. Seeded around September of the previous year, the blue sanori grows well and will be harvested soon. It seems that the fragrant Yaguchiura's Ao Sanori is shipped not only to Kansai but also to Nagoya and Tokyo.

I took this photo at Kita Asaba Sakura Zutsumi in Saitama, where I celebrated the arrival of spring on the day of the vernal equinox. In my country, we celebrate this time with natural colors and spend time with loved ones. The ritual symbolizes how nature becomes colorful at this time of the year, and so we celebrate it. In Japan, people also enjoy this season with their loved ones. While I was there, I saw a mother and her daughter with their family, having a great time and taking photos as memories. This entire scene reminded me of my childhood, when my mother also embraced me with the same emotion that is reflected in this image.
