~Going to meet the "happiness" flower, Renge Shoma-Climbing Kurodake in summer~ Around the time of Obon, the phantom flower "KiRenge Shoma" 🌼 begins to bloom quietly in the mountains Designated as an endangered species II on the Ministry of the Environment's Red List and attracting attention in NHK's TV series, this flower is said to make you happy when you see it. In the past, Renge Shoma used to grow in clusters around Morotsuka Village and Mt. Kurodake, but now their numbers have decreased greatly due to the effects of deer eating damage. Now, Local people are barely holding on to their lives in the limited area where conservation activities continue. Kurodake has been designated as an "Important Habitat" by Miyazaki Prefecture, and in addition to Renge Shoma, it is a precious treasure trove of nature with many rare mountain wildflowers and wild animals unique to Kyushu.
