54th Shimoda Onsen Hydrangea Festival Bloom Report [Overall about 50% in bloom] The hydrangeas at Shimoda Park are about 50% in bloom overall! From the entrance to Kaikoku Plaza they are at their best 💠✨ All around the park, colorful flowers have begun to open, creating a soothing scene even for a simple walk. Blue, purple, pink, white… the variety of hydrangeas you can see is one of Shimoda Park’s charms 🎨! Hydrangea color famously changes with soil conditions, and at Shimoda Park the fertilizer applied varies each year and the grounds are sloped, so runoff causes a mix of hues you can enjoy 👀💙💜 Explaining those mysteries and the different hydrangea types is the Shimoda Hydrangea Guidebook. Try using it while strolling through the park’s hydrangea paths!👇 https://www.shimoda-ajisai.info// Near the colony area, the Hydrangea Terrace Café is open ☕🌿 (Open every day during the Hydrangea Festival; may close due to weather, 9:00–16:00) Their limited-quantity plum squash (600 yen) is said to be popular ✨ However, it was so popular the plums ran out, so this time they offered the seasonal New Summer Orange ade instead! It was refreshing with a hint of sweetness and very tasty 🍊 The plums should be ready in a little while! They also offer many drinks perfect for a break while admiring the hydrangeas. Kaikoku Plaza also has food, drink, and shopping areas 👍 Some buds remain, but in sunny spots the hydrangeas are gently opening in a rainbow of colors, making this a great time for photos 📷 Colors will deepen from now on, and peak is expected from mid to late June. We will update bloom information as it changes, so please check before you visit 🌤

Divers who protect the ocean are cool after all! Hello, I'm Hokule'a Shonan! Today, I'd like to tell you a little bit about what we're working on, Dive Against Yellowtail. The other day, my friends and I dived together into the sea in Shizuura, Shizuoka Prefecture, and dived to collect garbage in the water. Take a look at this group photo taken after the activity! Isn't everyone really cool? The reason we think it's "cool" isn't just how it looks. I hope that we will come to an age where "picking up trash" will be taken for granted and seen as something to be proud of. That's what we have in mind. 🌊 Diving is a special time to connect with the sea. When you dive, you will be soothed by the tranquility and beauty of the water. You will also notice that there is garbage produced by people in the sea. Plastic bags, plastic bottles, pieces of fishing gear... There is also a reality that makes you want to look away. In such a situation, there is something that only divers can do. We believe so. Picking up trash can be sobering. But it's an action to protect the oceans of the future. And don't you think it's very cool? 🪸 Protecting the ocean should be part of the appeal of diving. Protecting the environment isn't just for special people. There are many things that you can feel and do because you are a diver. For those of us who live with the sea, the act of "protecting" is Nature. That may be the image of a "cool" diver in the future. Don't take out trash and pick it up. Both of these are steps towards protecting our oceans. Hokule'a Shonan will continue these activities in the future. If you like the ocean, why don't you start doing something "a little good for the earth" together? #DiveAgainstDebris #OceanConservation #ProtectWhatYouLove #ScubaForChange #DiversForTheOcean #CleanupDive #BluePlanetProtection #SustainableDiving #MarineDebrisAwareness #EcoFriendlyDiver #PADIAWARE #HokuleaShonan

This time, a special tour with the experience of actually sinking a wine bottle will be held in in June at the shipwreck Spot of "Shobuzawa" in the southeastern part of the Izu Peninsula! Six months to a year later, the wine is pulled from the seabed and becomes one of the perfect bottles 🎄✨ for Christmas and special occasion toasts at the end of the year 🌟 This is the attraction of the tour! The extraordinary and dramatic experience of actually sinking wine to the bottom of the sea You can enjoy both the beautiful waters and wreck dives of Irisawa The luxury of "savoring time" to enjoy a change of wine months later Reliable support with a small number of people. An atmosphere that makes it easy to participate even for the first time * This dive requires AOW (Advanced Open Water) or higher Sense. Sense acquisition is well in time. Experience the whole Spring Nature! 🌿🇯🇵 The "blue world" I encountered in Nishi-Izu and Pyeongtaek The other day, we held in an experience diving and fun dive tour in Pyeongtaek, Nishi-Izu. On this day, we were blessed with good weather, and it was 🌞 a great day to enjoy the whole Spring Nature First of all, in the Water, we were greeted by a "seaweed forest" that can only be seen in Only now. The fantastic scenery of softly swaying seaweed makes you feel as if you have wandered into a fantasy world under water. The transparency is also high, making it an environment where even first-timers can enjoy diving with peace of mind. Limited time scenery unique to this time of year will Impression you no matter how many times you see it. And when I looked up from the water, Mount Fuji 🗻 clearly appeared there In Nishi-Izu in Spring, when the air is clear, there are many days when Mt. Mount Fuji looks very beautiful, and you can enjoy the luxurious collaboration of diving and Mount Fuji. It is a unique attraction of this place that you can feel the "Spring of Japan" both in water and on land. On this day, we also stopped at 🌸 the Nemophila flower garden The nemophila flowers that spread all over the blue are beautiful 💙🩵 as if they are connected to the color of the sea Nature gives you the feeling that your mind is naturally aligned by being surrounded by a gradation of blue. Experience diving at Hokule'a Shonan is held in all year round, Whether you want to practice slowly in the pool or want to challenge yourself in the sea from the beginning, you can choose 😊 your favorite style For first-timers, we will give a careful lecture on how to use the equipment, so please feel free to participate. Why don't you spend time facing yourself while experiencing the Spring Nature and the beauty of the sea? Surrounded by the "blue" of both the sea and the sky, a relaxing experience awaits ✨ you #HokuleaShonan #NishiIzuDive #SeaweedForest #MountFujiView #NemophilaSeason #SpringInJapan #DivingExperience #TokyoDayTrip #ScubaDivingJapan

[Diving in Nishi-Izu and Tago! ] To a blue world with a transparency of more than 15 meters] Hello! This is 🌸 Hokule'a Shonan The other day, I went to the popular diving spot "Tago" in Nishi-Izu! Tago is a particularly popular area in Nishi-Izu, which is known for its rich nature and dynamic terrain. Access is a little far, but it is still understandable that there are many repeat customers who say, "It's worth going!" The sea on this day was more than 15 meters transparent! The moment you enter, you can't help but exclaim, "Wow!" at the beauty of the water. Just swimming in the clear blue sea with sparkling sunlight was a feeling that soothed my heart. And the highlight is a flock of snapdragons. Against the rocky backdrop, countless orange fish dance like a blizzard of flowers in the water. The water temperature was stable, the seaweed was growing, and the "water landscape only just now" was ✨ spreading At Hokule'a Shonan, we will guide you to diving spots that are "in season now!" at that time of year and on each day. Of course, the selection of points according to the request and the polite guide with a small number of people are also popular. Even first-timers and those with blanks can participate 😊 with confidence "Even if it's a little far away, I want to be healed by seeing the beautiful sea." "I want to encounter a scenery that can only be seen now." For such people, Tago diving is highly recommended! 🌟point🌟 ✔️ Day trip possible from the suburbs of Tokyo (early morning departure) ✔️ Safe and comfortable diving with a small number of people ✔️ Guided by an experienced instructor For those who want to be healed by the beauty of the sea, the current Tago no Kai is really recommended! Let's 🏝 go together and enjoy the view of the sea that you can only meet now #TagoDiving #NishiIzuDive #ScubaDivingJapan #HiddenGemsOfJapan #ExploreJapanUnderwater #HokuleaShonan #SmallGroupDiving #DivingNearTokyo #ColorfulReefFish #AnthiasParadise

Nangu Taisha Shrine 1734-1 Miyashiro, Tarui-cho, Fuwa-gun, Gifu Prefecture Nangong Taisha Shrine is the Main Shrine of Mino Province and enshrines Kanayama Hiko Ōkami, who controls metals and mines. Although it is a bright vermilion-colored building, the Precincts are somewhat surrounded by a calm atmosphere. In addition to the precious Shrine called Nangu-zukuri, there are also highlights such as "Hardware Ema" and "Tile Mound". The first thing that greets you at Nangong Taisha is this tower gate.
