Narai Juku is the 34th post town in the Nakasendo Highway, counting from Itabashi Inn on the Edo side and Moriyama Inn on the Kyoto side, just in the middle of the Nakasendo Highway. The Town has been selected as a national Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings and retains a strong appearance of the past. On the day I visited, half of the road was off-limits due to road construction (tears). The construction had not started yet early in the morning, so I asked to take a picture. Gyoikou is a plant of the genus Prunus in the Rosaceae family. Sakura is a cultivation variety native to Japan that was born based on the Oshima cherry tree. The name has been seen since the middle of the Edo period, and its origin is close to the yellow color of aristocratic clothing. Another name seems to be "misogi (exorcism)". The yellow of the robe in this photo is the yellow of the "Akiba Shrine" in Shimizu Town, Suwa City. This shrine has a number of large zelkova trees, and there are about three Shrine at the base, making it a very fantastic shrine that seems to appear in yellowtail work. If you enter the Akiba Shrine and go to the back on the left, you will find this robe yellow. This cherry blossom blooms about two weeks later than Someiyoshino, and usually blooms ? around Golden Week! The time of year is about the same time as the Double Cherry Blossom (Yae zakura). At the beginning of blooming, the inside of the petals is light green, and near the end of the flower, a light pink streak appears in the center! The trees have lost their momentum since the past, but as it is written on the signboard, the average age of the trees seems to be about 20 years. If you look closely, you can see that the tree was planted on May 25, 1975, so it is 49 years old this year. It's amazing, isn't it!! Also, don't you ♪ think that unlike the famous pink cherry blossoms, they are pale yellow-green and give off a wonderful color? After Someiyoshino, it is a pleasure every year to see the Double Cherry Blossom(Yae zakura) and this mii yellow. Answer! This cherry blossom was written in post English by me on Instagram on January 18 of this year, and the "light green colored cherry blossom" was the yellow of ♪ this Akiba Shrine's robe Please take a look at the post in English. Also, as far as I know, it is a facility in Suwa City, but there was also a green cherry blossom that seemed to be a yellow robe on the premises of the pruned tree recycling facility (former Suwa City Cleaning Center) in Suwa City. This is a facility in Suwa City, so please take a look when you go to recycle pruned trees in early spring. From next year onwards, if you can't make it in time for Someiyoshino around April, please add it to your options to see Mii Huang. Especially in Suwa City and Town/Village six cities near Suwa, there are such unusual cherry blossoms here! Doll memorial service Nagano Prefecture Suwa City Hot Spring Temple (Rinzai sect Myoshinji sect) On March 17, 2014, I went to a Hot Spring Temple. It is about a 10-minute walk from Kamisuwa Station. This temple offers Traditional Japanese straw raincoat dolls and stuffed animals. It's like a funeral for Traditional Japanese straw raincoat dolls and stuffed animals. At the Hot Spring Temple, a memorial service for dolls is held every March. In Japan, there is a Boys' Day (May 5) and a Girls' Day (March 3). Most grandparents give dolls as gifts for their grandchildren to pray for the growth and health of their children. It is a traditional doll original to Japan. That's why many Japanese families have Japanese dolls. I think dolls also have a soul like animism. So, if your child has a doll, the child will play with the doll. Adult, I think we move away from dolls. Most Japanese people don't simply throw away the dolls that have watched their children grow up. Because the doll spent time with the child. Most Japanese people think that dolls have souls. That's why we make a memorial service for the dolls. On this day, more than 1,000 dolls were gathered. The priest recited sutras on dolls and stuffed animals for about 30 minutes. The priest gave thanks to the doll with cleansing salt. We prayed with the same feeling. It was a very, very strange experience. I've never seen so many dolls and stuffed animals. However, it is a very hearty Buddhist offering for the doll. I feel that I was able to feel the Buddhist sentiment a little. That's why I love Japan!! Hot Spring Temple is also famous as a famous place for autumn leaves. If you want to see the beautiful autumn leaves, please come and see the autumn leaves at the Hot Spring Temple.

Narai-juku, located on the old Nakasendo road, is the longest post town in Japan, stretching about 1 km along the Narai River. This historic site features the Chinjin Shrine at the top of Torii Pass on its Kyoto end. Once a bustling hub for travelers, Narai-juku was known as "Narai Senken" (Narai's Thousand Houses) and was the busiest stop on the Kisoji road. The town still preserves architectural marvels from the Edo period, such as the eaves lights of the inns and the thousand latticed windows, reflecting the timeless grandeur of the area.
