Kumamoto Ubuyama Tourist Association
Dec. 23, 2024
Everyone eats around the table, so it's delicious ♪ A small village with a population of about 1,400 people. Together with the mothers living in this Ubuyama village, we held in a lunch party for "soup" in Aso. Thereare different cooking methods and seasonings for each household, This time, we asked one mother to be a teacher and Implementation a food education Events with a total of 20 people. Fresh vegetables received from farmers in the Village, which cannot be tasted in the city, and handmade miso made by everyone at the beginning of this year, were used to enjoy delicious soup that can only be tasted here. I really enjoyed chatting with everyone and having casual conversations. Implementation of this food education event that gives you a sense of Satoyama life changes the content depending on the season. Not only people in the Village but also people from outside the Village are allowed to participate, and several people participate each time. In the future, we would be happy if not only domestic but also overseas people who are interested in living in Japan could participate. Protect and inherit the Satoyama lifestyle, while enjoying it. Through such activities, it would be great if the people of the Village could enjoy interacting with people from outside.

Shooting 📸 on a trip to Kyushu Yonezuka 🏔, which is said to be the dimple of Aso ́- It seems to have been formed by an eruption, It had 👏 a very beautiful shape There also seems to be a legend, It is said that Takeiwa Tatsumikoto, the deity of Aso Shrine, built the mountain by piling up the harvested rice, and the hollow at the top is said to be the mark of scooping the rice with the palm of his hand and distributing it to the poor Although it was from a distance, I was glad that I was able ☺️ to take a picture

Introducing the photos posted on "Everyone's Post"! This is a pickup post of the inbound tourism information SNS "Cool Japan Video". Today, I would like to introduce Mr. Bashi's post "Nabegataki Falls, Kumamoto Prefecture". The icicle curtains and the snowy landscape are impressive. Nabegataki Nabegataki Falls is a waterfall with a drop of about 10 meters and a width of about 20 meters located in Nabegataki Park in Oguni Town, Aso District, Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan. It is said to have been formed during a huge eruption about 90,000 years ago, and due to its mysterious scenery, it is a popular spot that has been used as a commercial and filming location. Nabegataki Park requires advance reservations, so reservations are required before visiting. Reservations can only be made online, not by phone. It takes about 5 minutes on foot from Nabegataki Park to Nabegataki Falls. Arrive by walking slowly along the well-maintained road. Women and children can also visit with peace of mind. Nabegataki Falls can be enjoyed throughout the four seasons. In spring and autumn, light-up events are held for a limited time, and many tourists visit. In summer, you can enjoy the moss and waterfalls, and in winter, the huge icicle curtains created by the frozen waterfall are a must-see. ◆Nabegataki Falls◆ 【Address】〒869-2502 Kumamoto Prefecture, Aso-gun, Oguni Town, Kurobuchi 【Tel】0967-46-2113 【Access】 From roadside station Oguni Yu Station, 10 minutes by car or taxi 【Parking lot】Available Please check the official website for details.

COOL JAPAN VIDEOS Photo Contest PR

Introducing the photos posted on "Everyone's Post"! This is a pickup post of the inbound tourism information SNS "Cool Japan Video". Today, I would like to introduce Harumi Nozaki's post "Lights of Kurokawa Onsen in Aso". The warm light of the hot spring and the harmony of nature are superb. Kurokawa Onsen is located in Minamioguni-cho, Aso County, Kumamoto Prefecture, Kyushu region, which received two stars in the 2009 Michelin Green Guide Japan. "Yuakari" is a light-up event held at Kurokawa Onsen in winter. It started in 2012 and celebrated its 10th anniversary last year. The main spot for hot spring lighting is around Marusuzubashi Bridge over the Tanohara River that flows through Kurokawa Onsen. About 300 spherical "Kuri lanterns" are hung, and the fantastic scenery with tube lanterns is also lit, and it goes well with the snow. For viewing the hot spring light, we also recommend the hot spring inn where you can see the hot water. ・Kurokawa Onsen Yamabiko Ryokan You can see the Tanohara River from the corridor of the Yamabiko Ryokan. There are two types of hot springs and are popular as "double beautiful skin hot water". You can also enjoy open-air baths and various private baths. ・Historical inn Located about a 1-minute walk from Marusuzubashi Bridge, this inn has a long history dating back to the mid-Edo period. Pure Japanese-style rooms and 7 hot springs are attractive. ◆Hot water◆ 【Date】2023 will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022 ~ Sunday, April 2, 2023 【Lighting time】Evening~22:00 【Participation fee】Free 【Address】Minamioguni-cho, Aso-gun, Kumamoto Event information for 2023 will be released sequentially. "I've never been to a local tourist attraction before," my mother said, and this photo was taken when I traveled to my hometown. The retro advertisement on the ceiling of the theater was very cute. There were many people shooting from directly below the ceiling, but when I looked at it from various angles, the contrast between red and blue was beautiful, so I shot from diagonally below. When I learned that there was such a precious and wonderful building in my hometown, I fell in love with the local area even more. There are not many left this year, but I want to go on a trip with my mother again.
