It’s still hot in here Suwa city. It is abnormal!!! When I was child, after Lake Suwa’s firework festival gradually to change to autumn. But, today is still 30 Celsius… Hopefully, autumn should come soon!!! I’ll introduce to Suwa’s autumn leaves. The Suwa city is basin surrounded by mountains. We have so many kinds of trees. So, you can see many kinds of autumn leaves red color. Do you know what color will be change ginkgo leaf? It will be change to green to yellow. You can see ginkgo trees autumn leaves! It is also beautiful!!! Near the Lake Suwa, we have Katakura-kan(they are famous for building and hot spring) they have gingko tree and maple. You’ll see red(maple) and yellow(ginkgo) color harmony with historical building. How awesome spot it is!!! At the Kirigamine, you’ll see Japanese pampas grass all over the place. That’s seasonal tradition. At the Mushou tower or Nagikama shrine, you are going to see fantastic view. You may see Northern alps, Central alps, Southern alps, Yatsugatake peaks and Mt, Fuji!!! Can you believe that??? Trust me! “Seeing is Believing” If it is sunny, you’ll see all these mountains 360-degree view!!! I recommend to Mushou tower or Nagikama Shrine. Sweet Potato Dig in the Next Town By chance we had the opportunity to go to Takinoue to dig sweet potatoes! At the elementary school in Nishiokoppe this school year they have one half-day of morning classes each month. With the afternoons free, the Pomme members planned something to make the children excited. Together with elementary students and a few preschoolers, we boarded the village bus and set off for Takinoue. Riding the bus together felt like a field trip, and everyone already looked happy. When we arrived at the field and saw the sweet potatoes, both children and adults were surprised by their size! Each child could dig up two plants to take home, so after choosing their spots, the digging began. I snapped a photo of a first grader and a sixth grader straining in the same posture as they tried to pull a potato from the soil. Using tools like shovels where needed, the bags we brought filled up in no time. Some sweet potatoes were too big for one person to pull out, and there were moments when four people had to pull together. Thank you for the sweet potato digging experience and for providing the sweet potatoes! There may be a bonfire event in the village in October, so we look forward to enjoying warm, fluffy sweet potatoes. #Nishiokoppe Village #Harvest experience #Sweet potatoes #Takinoue #Bus field trip #Sweet potato digging #Pomme #Handmade candied sweet potatoes were a big hit

Nara Park 2022.11.03 The Morning Sun was shining brightly. Kasuga-Taisha Shrine, a shrine located in Nara Park, is the headquarters of about 3,000 Kasuga-Taisha Shrines throughout Japan and is also recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. One of the main God of worship enshrined at Kasuga-taisha Shrine, Takemikazuchi no Mikoto, was originally the god of Kashima Jingu Shrine in Ibaraki Prefecture. In the second year of Jingo Kageun Jingoken (768), Taketsuchi came from Kashima Jingu to Mount Spring on a white deer. At this time, it is said that the white deer on which Taketsuchi was riding gave birth to a child in Nara, which is the Roux of Nara's deer.

Wakayama Kushikaki no Sato 2022.11.04 Local guided us to Kushikaki Village. For 400 years, it has been passed down to the present day as a specialty production area for skewer persimmons. Its stunning scenery is known throughout the country as a late autumn tradition and delights Visitors. In addition, the view from the villages scattered along the mountains is breathtaking, and the fresh greenery season from Spring to summer is green to the heart... That's it. The view was spectacular.

【Flower Park LIVE "KAMUon"】 We greeted September 22nd with our hearts pounding, wondering whether it would rain. We held the live event "KAMUon" inside the Flower Park at the Roadside Station Kamu. A breezy autumn wind swept through the garden. On that day, all kinds of sounds filled the wide space surrounded by nature. Elementary school bands and dancers stole the show, a unit captivated us with original songs, and idol Goichi delivered an hour full of cuteness and fun. A boy shared mysterious sounds and strange stories, someone memorized and read essays aloud in a lovely voice, and another person read a picture book accompanied by the koto’s tones. We are truly grateful to all the performers. Every act held our attention—what wonderful stages they were! *** We wanted visitors passing through the Roadside Station to enjoy the attached garden. With that in mind, we decided to try an event that would make people want to step into the garden, and planned this live. For venue preparation, the gardener tidied the paths and stage area, and on the day staff and performers arrived early to set up. The children’s fair popped out from the market area and enlivened the event with a mobile gacha machine and candy fishing. *** The Flower Park can be enjoyed through Sunday, October 20th. Come relax in the autumn garden. #Nishiokoppe Village #KAMUon #Roadside Station #Kamu #Regional Revitalization Cooperation Team #Flower Park #Autumn Marche #Live Event #Ritts Pritz Khao Man Gai #Pipopapo #LOCKHAMA #Original Song #Kitami #Goichi #Kuma Robo #Yura Henmi #Otoineppu #High School Student #Villager A’s Reading #Essay #Koto and Picture Book Time #Mizunara no Inochi #Mochi Mochi no Ki

Hello, this is En'emon Folklore Museum. While daytime can still be warm, the mornings and evenings are beginning to carry a cool autumn breeze! Drawn by a clear, endless blue sky, I took a rare stroll out to the Ishimon area, and under the tree shade a pleasant wind swept through.✨ There are only three months left in the year now that October has arrived. The birthstone for October, tourmaline, is said to carry an electrical charge and be good for health. It is also believed to dispel negative influences and shift the mind toward positive thinking. Why not feel the richness of nature and experience the history of the Japan Heritage site and the power of stone? Please stop by En'emon Folklore Museum during your walk♪ We look forward to seeing you 😃

Inukai Stone Buddha (National Historic Site) The Inukai Stone Buddha stands in Inukai Town, Bungoono City, Oita Prefecture, Kyushu. The Inukai Stone Buddha is a rock-carved image sculpted into welded tuff from an Aso pyroclastic flow about 90,000 years ago. Based on the style of the figure, it is estimated to have been created in the Kamakura period. Although it represents Fudo Myo-o, its gentle facial expression is striking. The knees appear to sit in a cross-legged position, yet the carving gives the impression of being viewed from above, which is an intriguing technique. The stone Buddha is protected by a shelter, and the cliff above the roof bears the inscription "Ryudenzan." On the cliff to the upper right of the shelter, the large inscription reads "Namu Daishi Henjo Kongo." Kemono Night On the night of the mid‑autumn full moon (or so we thought—turns out it was actually the next day) Kemono Night returned after several years. Centered on the Minami family, dairy farmers in Nishiokoppe, and the guesthouse GA.KOPPER, a handful of Nishiokoppe locals and visiting chefs from nearby areas, with the cooperation of musicians, came together for a feast. Eating what was once alive and so carrying on life itself Around a firelit banquet we spent an evening giving thanks for life and the producers. Before we knew it, what had been just a sheet of plywood was adorned with deer and bear, providing warmth. Chilly but wrapped in clear air, the warm, richly flavored soup was superb. Deer, bear, sheep, cattle, plus vegetables and cheese We savored the gratitude of tasting locally harvested ingredients and the luxury of those ingredients becoming truly delicious dishes through the chefs’ wisdom and skill. Food that brings people together. Will the people who gathered that night meet again somewhere down the road? Thanks to the producers and everyone who came together that night. #Nishiokoppe Village #Kemono Night #GA.KOPPER #Ohtakoji #Yukiya Taneishi #RIDE #DJKATSU #Jomon Taiko #Yoshito Yamamoto #Kiichi Ninomiya #Megumi Takatsuka #mikachup #moor #Quite Hot #Makiya‑to Minaga #Higuma Taiko
