I went to Yakushima in May of this year. I was worried about my first trek, but I was relieved of fatigue when I saw the beautiful scenery!

Great way to enjoy the sakura season. I saw many people spent their day off on pleasure boats and enjoy the view of beautiful parks and garden near the river. At the same time few love to feed birds and fishes. This picture was taken exactly that moment when a pleasure boat was floating near skytree and one family was feeding those seabirds and you can see the blooming sakura in the background too.

At Aikawa Waterfront Park in Tarui Town, Gifu Prefecture Carp streamers have been swimming on the river since the end of March. If you are at the end of March ~ beginning of April, you can see cherry blossoms as shown in the photo, and Mt. Ibuki covered with snow in the back.

The carp streamers flowing on the river are beautiful and very moving. It takes about 25 minutes to walk from the school, which is a bit far, but please go and see them. May 5 is Children's Day. On Children's Day, we hold a fish called "Koinobori" outside Koi Koi. "Koinobori" wishes for the growth and advancement of children. At Asakawa in Nishi-Hachioji, many events are held to decorate "koinobori". The streamers flowing over the river are beautiful and very moving. It's about a 25-minute walk from the school, and it's a little far away, but please go see it.

Yachiho Kogen Nature Park

A photo I took a little while back while on a small boat ride through Tokyo. This photo was of Ishikawajima Park, a small riverside park that looks like it'd be a nice place to relax and have some lunch with a friend or date or just get some fresh air. I'd like to come back and visit the area when I have some time and see what else is in the park, as well as take a look at the surrounding buildings and what they might have in the area as far as restaurants and shopping, etc. It's really nice that Tokyo seems to be returning to a relatively normal state and I'm seeing more people out and about and infection numbers don't seem to be on the rise currently. Hopefully this trend continues and I can start going out more and visiting all of the eateries and stuff I've been missing out on over the last year and a half!

At the Fukushima rice terraces in Iiyama City, Nagano Prefecture, which was selected as one of the 100 best terraced rice fields. The river illuminated by the western sun is the Chikuma River. It seemed that the full-scale rice harvesting would begin the next day.

I found it when I went for a walk a little farther It looked white in the foreground and shinier in the back.

It looked like a pretty decent size fish too, but I couldn’t take a photo of it. We realized the planters on the way back were shaped like small boats so I took a photo of one. Thought it was kind of neat

This is the autumn foliage scenery of Koankyo in Yuzawa City, Akita Prefecture. This is a canyon formed by the deep erosion of both banks of the Minase River over many years. When you go down the stairs of the rocks, there is a promenade at the end of which there is a "large spout" where hot water and steam of 98°C are gushing out violently. Fresh green in spring, autumn leaves. And in winter, you can enjoy the large icicles "shigakko" that descend into the canyon.
