Ichijo Falls in Fukui Prefecture. This is a place deep in the mountains, where you can find flowers, flowers, and cobwebs everywhere. Ichijo Falls in the middle of summer is very thin, but even so, the hydrangeas, which have become unbearable in this year's heat, have become dry and have been webbed by spiders everywhere. Nature is not only beautiful, but I don't want to lose it.

When I went to Ichijo Falls in Fukui Prefecture, I saw summer hydrangeas. In Japan, where summer began early, the hydrangeas, which had been beautiful, were turned into carakaras and ephemeral appearances.

In Fukui Prefecture, the Takefu Fireworks that used to be held in the old Takefu draw local pride every year on the same day of Obon. Although the city merged and became Echizen City, this fireworks festival remains something the people of Takefu boast about. The fireworks reflected in the Hino River were not only beautiful but somehow wistful.

Komu Museum of Art’s Wood Play Experience Market A workshop festival celebrating the village’s 100th anniversary The “Wood Play Experience Market” was held at Komu Museum of Art! Vendors from across Hokkaido gathered for a hands-on making event using wood and natural materials. When the museum opened at 10:00, visitors came to the event space without pause. We offered six experiences. Make a wooden kaleidoscope Make a wooden clock Make BUG BUG from nuts and seeds Make wooden brooches and keychains Make a wood shaker Make mushroom magnets. @do.mono @tek_toys Visitors chose beads and peered into the finished kaleidoscopes, walked around with insects made from acorns and pipe cleaners, and shook bean-filled wood shakers. On the clock faces, participants decorated not only numbers but many other embellishments. In one corner, poisonous-looking mushrooms and irresistibly cute mushrooms sprouted in abundance. Animal keychains and brooches, each with its own expression, were adorable. Tsuno Citizens’ Fireworks Display Organized by the Tsuno Citizens’ Fireworks Display Executive Committee, this show launches from rice fields where the harvest is finished. No specific viewing areas are designated, so many watch from the concurrently held river festival site, while others enjoy clear views from farther away. The fireworks look different depending on where you watch, and about 3,000 shells will light up the night sky over Tsuno. The highlight is that you can look down on the fireworks from the hillside parking lot of Tsuno Winery. Why not come for a fireworks experience you can’t usually have? A Long-Awaited Hike up Mt. Shiraiwa 👟 From the 13th to the 17th, the town road Hon’yashiki–Hagisen reopened to regular vehicles, so I left my car at Gokasecho Highland Ski Area’s Ski Center and hiked up Mt. Shiraiwa 💪 Because the management road up to the ski area still prohibits ordinary cars, I first headed on foot for the Gobobatake trailhead ✨ About 30 minutes after starting, I reached the Gobobatake trailhead 💡 From there I set off on my long-awaited hike up Mt. Shiraiwa 😊 The trail was rough at first, but it was generally easy to walk and the cool weather made the climb comfortable ✨ At the summit I exchanged valuable information and learned about conditions on nearby peaks 👍 The photos show an asagi-madara butterfly and alpine wildflowers I encountered along the way 🥰 It felt great to hike Mt. Shiraiwa again and it was a refreshing experience 😆

During the summer, a Taiwanese student staying in Tateyama experienced the Tateyama Bay Fireworks Display. I was astonished that Japanese fireworks last for a whole hour, whereas major events in Taiwan—such as New Year’s Eve—only last about five minutes; that contrast surprised me greatly. What sets Tateyama’s fireworks apart is that they are launched over the sea, creating a vast spread that blooms everywhere at once, so you don’t know where to look; it felt fresh and spectacular. Watching from the sand, with most people lying back comfortably, was very pleasant. I was swept up in the romantic atmosphere of the moment and felt that the Tateyama fireworks festival contained everything needed for romance. The festival food stalls heightened the dreamlike mood, their colorful displays and rich aromas making everything tempting. There were many takoyaki vendors, and I ended up buying a box to taste. The vendors were very kind and warm toward me even though we couldn’t speak the same language, which touched my heart. Walking around made me smile naturally, and those delicious flavors made the night even more unforgettable. The Tateyama Fireworks Festival is truly exhilarating. The deep green of Usa Jingu Shrine, which symbolizes "summer in Japan". In the sunlight shining through the trees, I captured the moment when my father passed through the vermilion Torii (shrine gate). This Torii (shrine gate) is the boundary between the sacred and the mundane, a symbol of purification and vitality.   Usa Jingu Shrine, the Main Shrine of the Hachiman faith, is a sacred place where my ancestors, the Karashima clan, especially Katsuotome Karashima, were deeply involved in its founding. The image of the father passing through the Torii (shrine gate) gate symbolizes the way in which the lineage and faith are passed down from generation to generation, following in the footsteps of distant ancestors.   This trip was a powerful and healing experience for me, like a large tree taking root in my heart. I was touched by the vitality of Usa Jingu Shrine in summer and the history of my ancestors, and I realized that my Roux is deeply rooted in this Great Earth. This is more than just a summer scene, it is a piece that conveys an ancient bond and inner peace.

Take a boat ride at night. I took a picture in a place where the buildings of Tokyo and the Sky Tree are located.　　Each light was cool in the dark.

Go to Shikoku by Tsar. The second day was Awa Odori in Tokushima. The bleachers were in the back, so I asked a Local at the front to let me take a picture for a while. The yukata was cool and I felt the power of the dance.

I don't think the hand-held fireworks in Niimachi, Shizuoka Prefecture in July are as famous as Toyohashi, but you can get close to the stage and feel the realism and power. I arrived around noon, secured a place, and took a picture at the position of the spark thread.
