[English/Japanese] I visited Soto Terrace, a spot that opened last November to promote Hachioji's traditional culture. It is a 7-minute walk from Hachioji Station. You can reach it by passing through a small street in Hanamachi. I visited at night so it was very quiet, but I heard it is very lively on weekends and holidays with events. There is a nice store and I bought some cute sweets. I will report on the sweets I bought next time. Hachioji is an old town, so there are many events and places that convey traditional culture. I think it's a great city for foreign students to learn about Japanese culture! I went to Kuwato Terrace, a spot that opened in November last year to transmit the traditional culture of Hachioji. 7 minutes walk from Hachioji Station. You can reach it by passing through a small road in Hanamachi. I visited at night, so the atmosphere was very quiet, but on holidays, it was very lively with events. There was a nice shop and I bought cute sweets. I will report the sweets I bought next time. Hachioji is an old city, so there are many events and places that convey traditional culture. I think it's a great city for international students to learn about Japan culture!

Shonan coast. 15 minutes bike ride from home, my view. Mt. Fuji at sunset and waves crashing on the shore. Lovers walking on the beach holding hands with families playing with children, walking with dogs. Whether you're happy or sad, this scenery gives you calm. This scenery has a vividness of colors, grandeur of nature, and beauty of Japan that cannot be conveyed even in photographs, but I wanted to convey the beauty of the Shonan coast to the world by capturing it in as small a lens as possible.

COOL JAPAN VIDEOS Photo Contest PR
Jan. 23, 2023
Introducing the photos posted on "Minna no Post"! This is a pickup post on the inbound tourism information SNS "COOL JAPAN VIDEOS". Today, I would like to introduce the post "Underwater torii gate of Hakone Shrine" by "Sweets Bancho". The torii gate with a fantastic atmosphere is impressive. Hakone Shrine, located in Hakone Town, Ashigarashimo-gun, Kanagawa Prefecture, is a famous tourist attraction as a power spot. It is said to be beneficial for good luck, fulfillment of wishes, traffic safety, and matchmaking. In recent years, it has also become popular with tourists visiting the red seal. You can get the red seal of four companies: "Hakone Shrine", "Kuzuryu Shrine", "Hakone Seven Lucky God Ebisu Shrine", and "Hakone Motomiya". A wide variety of amulets are also sold at the banknote office. How about a pair of matchmaking amulets, Nakayoshi omamori, Katsumori, etc. to commemorate your visit? Yoseki protection is popular because it uses parquet. The "Underwater Torii Gate" built in the 1952 (Showa 27) to commemorate Japan's independence is also a hot Instagrammable spot. It is built in Lake Ashi (former Hakone Bay) and is known as the "Torii of Peace". (2023 (Reiwa 5) Some entries are off-limits until Thursday, February 9, so please check the official website when visiting.) ) On the approach to the main shrine of Hakone Shrine, there are plenty of restaurants. Recommended for breaks such as lunch. ◆Hakone Shrine◆ 【Address】〒250-0522 Kanagawa-ken, Ashigarashimo-gun, Hakone-cho, Motohakone 80-1 【Access】 Take the Odakyu Line from Shinjuku to Yumoto From Yumoto, 60 minutes by bus bound for Hakone and Motohakone Take the JR Tokaido Line or Shinkansen to Odawara Station From Odawara Station, 75 minutes by bus bound for Hakone and Motohakone 【Parking lot】Available Please check the official website for details.

I visited Meiji Jingu Shrine almost every season. Even in a densely populated city like Tokyo, there are very few places where you can see such beautiful seasonal changes. So it is an ideal place to visit any time of the year. This picture was taken during the snowfall and it looked absolutely surreal .

[English/Japanese] To commemorate the 150th anniversary of the start of the railroad business, JR East is developing "Pokégenic", a photogenic spot shooting with various Pokémon at stations and Shinkansen stations in JR East area. Found this photo spot in Hachioji! It's cute. By the way, the anime popular among our students is "Doraemon. A place loved as a famous place for cherry blossoms and many people think of "Imperial Palace Chidorigafuchi" "Chiyoda-ku Noryo no Night" is a traditional Japanese "lantern flow" that began 1958 (Showa 33) to heal the hearts of people who were devastated after the war. In recent years, it was canceled due to the influence of the new coronavirus, but 2022 (Reiwa 4) has been revived for the first time in three years. On a summer night in central Tokyo, the light of 2,000 lanterns filled with people's wishes and hopes, We have created a fantastic scenery shimmering on the surface of the moat. Many tourists and boat participants from Japan and abroad float in the "Beacon of Hope." Each one expresses the gratitude and wishes of the participants.

If you go further from Takaosan Yakuoin Okunoin, you will find Fuji Sengensha. This was done by Hojo Ujiyasu during the Sengoku period to solicit the Fuji Sengen Great Bodhisattva on Mt. Takao. During the national era, for those who could not go to Fuji from here due to the placement of enemy countries, Fuji Sengen Daibodhisattva was solicited to this Mt. Takao where they could see Mt. Fuji so that they could receive the same benefits without having to go to Mt. Fuji. I was glad that I was born in this peaceful era, that there were times when I could not live such a distance.
