5 minutes by ferry from Moji Port in Fukuoka Prefecture. One photo taken in Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi Prefecture, Karato Town. The wide sky, the endless scent of the sea and tide. The Kanmon Bridge connects the great outdoors. While I couldn't travel much because of the Coronavirus pandemic, I was able to go to the countryside for the first time in a long time and feel nature. Digital content has evolved greatly in the Coronavirus pandemic, and the enhancement of "home time" has been remarkable. However, I was reminded that there is nothing better than going to see a scenery that I have never seen with my own eyes or feet. I would be happy if you could feel a sense of nostalgia from this photo. New stimuli are pleasant, no matter how old you are.

COOL JAPAN VIDEOS Photo Contest PR
Nov. 18, 2022
Introducing the photos posted on "Everyone's Post"! This is today's inbound tourism information SNS "Cool Japan Video" pick-up post. Here is a post by Daiki Miyashita. Tsunoshima Bridge in Nagato City, Yamaguchi Prefecture The long bridge and the blue sea are one of the superb views. The Tsunoshima Bridge in Kitanagato Kaigan Quasi-National Park in Toyohoku-cho, Shimonoseki City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, opened in 2000. With a total length of 1,780 meters, it was the longest bridge in Japan when it opened. The superb view of the cobalt blue sea and Amagase was used as a commercial and filming location, and became a hot topic. It is also popular on SNS as a scenic photo spot. Tsunoshima, which floats in the northwest, is an island with a population of about 900 people with white beaches and emerald green waters. There are beaches, camping, lighthouses, etc., and it is a popular spot for tourists. In addition, the nearby "Hotel Nishi-Nagato Resort" offers ocean view rooms and a view of the Tsunoshima Bridge, so it is recommended to enjoy it together with the drive. 【Access】 ▼Car Approximately 70 minutes from Shimonoseki IC / Approximately 60 minutes from Kozuki IC / Approximately 60 minutes from Mine IC Trains and Buses About 30 minutes by bus bound for Tsunoshima from Takibe Station. Get off at the bus stop "Hotel Nishi-Nagato Resort Iriguchi" and walk about 3 minutes "Amagase Park" * Park on the Honshu side About 35 minutes by bus bound for Tsunoshima from Takibe Station Get off at the bus stop "Sezaki Park" Right after "Akari Park" * Park on the Tsunoshima side (It is not possible to cross on foot)

? Nagato City, Yamaguchi Prefecture Tsunoshima Bridge

※Superb view of the sea in Yamaguchi

⊿ Location

After the Kouri Bridge (total length 1,960m) in Okinawa Prefecture, it is the second longest in the Japan (total length 1,780m).

In 2015, it became a hot topic by ranking first in the "Japan Bridge Ranking by Word of Mouth" by TripAdvisor, a major travel site. He is also the author of the bestseller "I want to go before I die!" It was also selected as the third place in the "Superb View of the World"!

The sea was really beautiful and it was a popular tourist spot where there were always people. This was the first time I took a photo with the road in front of me, but there are also points to take pictures from both sides of the pedestrian crossing.

Nagato City, Yamaguchi Prefecture Motono Inari Shrine Yamaguchi Prefecture is the last post with this What a gift box at the shrine here! !! Throw coins into the offer box installed above the torii gate ⛩️! !! This is hard to get in again lol The feeling of not being able to go to the next place until you enter. It's a training that makes your shoulders sluggish if you don't enter it smoothly lol This was also a place where you can enjoy traveling ( ́∀' ) I went to the photo 6 years ago, but due to the new coronavirus, I was working in the fourth wave, and I just stayed home on holidays, and when the corona calmed down, my family increased, and now I want to drive 12 hours with my family of four and travel to Yamaguchi Prefecture and Kyushu. I pray that the corona will settle down as soon as possible. Please save as many lives as possible. I hope that medical professionals can return to normal as soon as possible.

Amazing.. This is a scene that I never get tired of seeing. It's such a scenic location already and then you have the beautiful torii gates as well. There's something about the gates at Motonosumi Inari Shrine and the ones at Fushimi Inari Shrine that look so mystical, like they're really transporting you to another world. On a side note, I've been seeing a lot of Yamaguchi Prefecture lately and I'm starting to realize that it has a bunch of cool stuff. The Akiyoshido caves and Tsunoshima Bridge, and the weather just looks fantastic. Looking forward to more sunny weather like this, so hopefully the rainy season isn't too bad. It's definitely a bit earlier than usual this year, that's for sure.

A red torii gate ⛩️ is rare in a place facing the sea.
I don't know if it's a power spot, but I think ? that all the wonderful places we go to and feel good are power spots.

Really amazing view. I'd like to visit Yamaguchi for this and Akiyoshido Cave that I shared a post about last week. This view really looks like something you'd see in Okinawa which is pretty cool since you don't have to leave mainland Japan to see it. I'm not sure if the weather is as good as Okinawa, but judging by this photo it's at least as good on some days. I just wanna sit on a beach, crack a beer and relax under the sun, maybe do a little swimming and just chill out for the day being a beach bum. I know Tsunoshima has some pretty nice beaches too so it'd definitely be nice if I travel down south at all. Of course, as the original post says, I too hope that corona ends as fast as possible so that people can get back to their normal lives and enjoy some of this amazing scenery for themselves

Tsunoshima Bridge, Yamaguchi

The sea is so emerald green that I was surprised! !!
A place with a strong impact that will remain firmly in the memories of traveling from a distant place.
