The iconic Himeji castle with cherry blossom. This castle is known white heron castle because of its special elegant white colors. This castle is also a world heritage site. The castle area has several hundred cherry blossoms and during April it looks so special. If you are in Kansai area then it is a must visit place.

【English／日本語】 These are cherry blossoms at Shinshoin, a temple in Nishi-Hachioji. This temple was founded by the daughter of the famous warlord Shingen Takeda. Unlike ordinary temples, it features feminine decorations and a very glamorous atmosphere. Our school visits once a year. Before the visit, students study in class the tragic love story for which this temple was built. There are many historical buildings near the school. The iconic symbol of one of the most happening city of Japan, Osaka. Osaka castle has an important history but not only that but also for it's location and natural beauty made it more popular among tourists. This is my second trip and during the sakura season, and it looks stunning.

Decided to go back to Gyoda again this weekend. We had such a good time last time we went we decided we wanted to check out the cherry blossoms this spring. Managed to visit some really nice places. We originally wanted to use the rental bicycles that they have in front of the station but we got there past noon and all of them were taken unfortunately. Fortunately for us, it ended up getting a bit colder later on so it actually worked out. We got lucky as there was a really convenient sightseeing bus that rolled through the station to all of the major places in the city every 45 minutes or so. We checked out the cherry blossoms at Gyoda Castle and they had the Hanachozu 花手水, pots of flowers floating in water. We were able to see a few of these throughout the city which was nice. They also had traditional umbrellas on display in a few areas around the castle which was really pretty. After Gyoda Castle we visited the Sakitama Burial Mounds which had some really beautiful views of the cherry blossoms. There was also a flock of herons flying around the area but I wasn't able to get a very good photo of any of them. Luckily we got some great photos of the cherry blossoms and the main mound and had a really enjoyable time. We also stopped by Suijo Park and there were some food stalls in the area, but we got there when everything was just about closed so we only got to see a few of the vendors. We managed to get a really tasty lemonade and a latte though. Both tasted really good. Surprisingly there were a lot of cosplayers at the park. We probably saw like 20-30 people cosplaying using the bridges and cherry blossoms in the area. On the way back to the station we managed saw this river during the bus ride and so we backtracked a little bit after getting to the station about 5 minutes walking and got to enjoy some really phenomenal views of the cherry blossoms along the river. There were hardly any people there as well, surprisingly. Overall it was a really awesome time!

It is around Kasuga Taisha Shrine in Nara Prefecture. The citrus fruits were growing in a flutter, and on the vermilion torii gate, it seemed to represent a bountiful harvest.

Castle in the clouds The Takamatshu castle is known as the castle in the sky. In the early morning from November to March we can see the clouds covering the castle. Unfortunately we were little late but still we got this nice view. Location: Takahashi, Okayama.

In the depth of true nature. On the way of our journey to Nachi falls we start treck from Diamonzaka. The whole road is full with very cedar trees. It was an amazing experience. We really feel the nature here. There are many trees which are more than 800 years old. Location: Diamonzaka, Wakayama

Osaka Castle as seen from Osaka Castle Park and Nishinomaru Garden in Osaka City. There is an admission fee of 200 yen in the garden, but it is very beautiful because you can see Osaka Castle in front of you and seasonal flowers are in full bloom. Spring is a famous place for cherry blossoms. The view of white snow willows growing in clusters is also superb.

One of the seven hells in Beppu City, Oita Prefecture, Japan, which is said to be a hot spring prefecture, "Demon Stone Boshi Hell". You can see how the gray hot mud boils.

Ox Tora Shrine in Shobara City, Hiroshima Prefecture. The torii gate surrounded by a forest of guards is truly a gate of Kakuriyo. I've been to many shrines, but I feel that it is quite rare to find a place that is in such harmony with nature.

Located in Yamanashi Prefecture, the cherry blossom trees of Tokushima Weir.

This photo was taken in the limestone cave of Abukuma Cave in Fukushima Prefecture. It was found by explorers who dug up a narrow place over a long period of time, and it took a long time to get this shape. When I was walking inside, it was like walking in a dungeon, and I remember being excited.

Kitaro would be handsome 😆 if he changed the angle. Next time, I want 🍀 to meet all the yokai face-to-face.

There is a good reflection of the colorful trees in the pond water. Additionally the pond water is slightly fuming. So overall it was really an unforgettable experience.
