Yashagaike shows different faces depending on the season. The deep greens of spring and summer are lovely, but how about the fiery autumn foliage? From the trailhead on the Fukui Prefecture side, it takes about two hours to reach Yashagaike. Try climbing at various times of the year!

A mysterious, legendary pond lies tucked in the mountains, reached by a trekking course rich in nature.
Sitting at about 1,100 meters above sea level, the pond is remarkably clear and the trail is designed so even beginner hikers can enjoy it.
Fresh spring greenery and autumn foliage both shine here, offering a different face each season.
The hiking path is well maintained, and viewpoints along the way offer sweeping views of the Echizen mountain range.

I can post about one of Nagano Prefecture’s top fireworks festivals again this year thanks to the businesses that sponsored the event, the fireworks artists, everyone who bought tickets, and the local people of the Suwa region! Thank you so much!! The event takes place in Suwa City every year on August 15. With help from the organizing committee, we received fireworks photos from the Suwa Lake Festival Fireworks over the Lake.🎆 Because Lake Suwa sits in a basin surrounded by mountains, the echoes and shockwaves are incredible! It’s an intensity you absolutely can’t experience anywhere else!!! If you’ve never been or have been curious, please come visit Lake Suwa next year✨ We look forward to seeing you!!! https://suwako-hanabi.com//

Summer Memories of Bungo-Ono, Oita Prefecture On August 14, the Kodai Torch Fire Festival took place in Ogata Town, Bungoono City, Oita Prefecture. At 7:30 p.m., torches were lit all at once, and the lights of the torches prepared by the local community rose up in a dreamlike display across the area around Harajiri Falls and the Ogata rice fields. Flame sculptures made from torches that depict torii gates and stone bridges are also beautiful. Upstream from Harajiri Falls stands the stone Harajiri Bridge, and the sight of torches glowing on the stone bridge is very beautiful. ■■■ Access to central Bungoono City ■■■ About a 3-hour drive from JR Hakata Station in Fukuoka Prefecture About a 2-hour drive from JR Kumamoto Station in Kumamoto Prefecture About a 1 hour 20 minute drive from JR Beppu Station in Oita Prefecture About a 1 hour 20 minute drive from JR Yufuin Station in Oita Prefecture ■■■■■■■■■■■■ Tourism and recommended spots in Kyushu, Bungoono City, Oita Prefecture ■■■■■■■■■■■■

"Summer wake watched over by Torii (shrine gate)" I wake up at 5 a.m. and rub my blurry eyes to see if I'm going for a walk. On the road in front of my house, I hear the sound of a motorcycle passing by with a roaring sound. At that moment Squid inside me – my soul echoes hotly. It's been about a year since I got my license. Make your favorite Super Cub 50-chan your buddy I've been to a lot of places. On this day I make a decision. The highest mileage in the past I'm going to repaint it. The best record was about 90 km to Chichibu But that's not enough. Go beyond your past self. Sightseeing spot with enthusiasm and excitement on the spot. According to GPT, it is about 120 km away. It seems that there is a Famous Sightseeing spot called Lake Ashi. Squid, isn't it? Because he is a high school student who has no friendships, Alone with emptiness, I hold the steering wheel. While panting in the blazing summer sun Finally, you arrive at your destination. The time is 11 a.m. The Hakone Shrine, which was crowded with tourists, It seems to be Famous for its Power spot. While witnessing the huge Torii (shrine gate), Squid somewhere good photo spot Carry the legs. The photo Spot I finally found is It was like an embankment of a fishing spot. When I hold the Z FC-chan that I recently bought and look for a subject It's reminiscent of a wonderfully squishy summer My eyes are attracted to the clouds. While putting a big Torii (shrine gate) as the subject of this When the shutter is pressed, A ship reminiscent of a pirate ship comes to us from the back. Finding the best position, this is the place to be This photo was taken at the right time. Feeling lonely, with Lake Ashi in the background On the way home. Return, because there was a sea nearby I stopped there. Sandy beaches and the sea as far as the eye can see. One set of families, I was playing with the sea. This is quite a hidden gem, and there are few people Overlooking the sandy beach. However, the temperature on this day was 37 degrees. In the midst of the hot gaze of Tendou-sama in the middle of summer I wonder if the desire for sea water will disappear. Held in the winning championship for the person who finds the roundest stone possible. I was the only participant, so I had a bye. You don't notice the waves that are approaching your feet crazy, and your shoes are waves I was drenched. Souvenirs of cobblestones and finally return home. The huge road is very congested. While wrestling with tiredness and drowsiness Finally to the end point. Aroma of the sea and sweat when I took off my shoes.

Shinda Falls Shinda Falls in Kyushu’s Oita Prefecture, located in Bungoono City, consists of the male waterfall on the main stream of the Ono River and the female waterfall on the Hirai River, a tributary. The male waterfall is about 100 meters wide and 20 meters high. The site is also famous for a visit by the Muromachi-period painter Sesshū, who created a work titled “Chinden Waterfall Painting” here. ■■■ Access to central Bungoono City ■■■ About a 3-hour drive from JR Hakata Station in Fukuoka Prefecture About a 2-hour drive from JR Kumamoto Station in Kumamoto Prefecture About a 1 hour 20 minute drive from JR Beppu Station in Oita Prefecture About a 1 hour 20 minute drive from JR Yufuin Station in Oita Prefecture ■■■■■■■■■■■■ Tourism and recommended spots in Bungoono City, Oita Prefecture, Kyushu ■■■■■■■■■■■■

Kitamaebune Shipowners’ Street runs along the Shiokaze Line. Here stands the Ukon House, a Kitamaebune shipowner’s residence designated as a Japan Heritage site. The building I’m introducing this time is the Western-style house a few steps up from the Ukon House. What view opens up from the second-floor veranda? That’s a surprise to enjoy when you visit. . When you come to the Ukon House, be sure to climb up to the Western-style house on Kitamaebune Shipowners’ Street for a different experience—the unique scenery you can only see here awaits you. https://www.minamiechizen.com/en/feature/64468/...

The Chobochinai Route, long closed to traffic, will open a little earlier than usual this year! 📅 Friday, August 22, 2025, from 11:00 AM ■ What the phantom roadway is This road is an extremely limited route that is usually passable for only about one month, from mid-September to mid-October. It is called the “phantom roadway” because it can be used only when the water level falls to its lowest. Early October in particular coincides with peak autumn foliage, drawing many visitors from both inside and outside the route. 📌 Open section Dodo Route 1116 (Chobochinai Gate to Higashikawa-kita 7-sen Gate) 📅 Opening date and time From 11:00 AM on Friday, August 22, 2025 ※ The schedule may change or be canceled due to weather or road conditions. ※ The start of the winter closure period is undecided at this time. 🚧 Cautions There are no maintained sidewalks, and some sections are narrow. A Long-Awaited Hike up Mt. Shiraiwa 👟 From the 13th to the 17th, the town road Hon’yashiki–Hagisen reopened to regular vehicles, so I left my car at Gokasecho Highland Ski Area’s Ski Center and hiked up Mt. Shiraiwa 💪 Because the management road up to the ski area still prohibits ordinary cars, I first headed on foot for the Gobobatake trailhead ✨ About 30 minutes after starting, I reached the Gobobatake trailhead 💡 From there I set off on my long-awaited hike up Mt. Shiraiwa 😊 The trail was rough at first, but it was generally easy to walk and the cool weather made the climb comfortable ✨ At the summit I exchanged valuable information and learned about conditions on nearby peaks 👍 The photos show an asagi-madara butterfly and alpine wildflowers I encountered along the way 🥰 It felt great to hike Mt. Shiraiwa again and it was a refreshing experience 😆

After taking pictures of the starry sky at Asama Highlands, I took pictures at Shiraito Falls, and when I arrived at the site early in the morning, about seven photographers arrived first. I managed to secure a place to shoot and waited for the sunlight to shine. I waited for the sunlight to start turning around around 7 a.m. I posted it yesterday with the same name, but I didn't know how to put the sentence, so I posted it. Speaking of summer flowers, "sunflower" I went to a sunflower field in Ogaki City, Gifu Prefecture, where sunflowers are in full bloom. There were many people of all ages, from babies to the elderly, and they were taking pictures while enjoying the sunflowers. I photographed the sunset and sunflowers with my favorite digital camera, Papershoot. The beauty of this camera is that it expresses light in a good Ume plum. The point of this photo is that in order to express the Scene and the dynamics of the sunflowers being gently illuminated by the setting sunflower, the camera was taken slightly below the height of the sunflower flowers and taken from a fanning angle.
