The long-awaited local fireworks festival was held for the first time in three years. Although it was not the same as before, it was ✨ a very moving time to be able to share the local tradition with my family and many people for the first time in a long time.

A summer tradition in Nogi Town, Tochigi Prefecture, sunflowers. Many sunflowers were exposed in the morning sun.

Sunflower is her soul flower, as sunflowers are the epitome of bright, happy and cheer, her vibrant and happiness made this frame perfect. This was her first ever visit any sunflower field and you can feel that happiness. This picture was taken at Kiyose sunflower field in Tokyo

I went to the Nagaoka Fireworks Festival in Niigata Prefecture for the first time. I was moved from start to finish.

It is "Kowatari no Yumekake Wind Chime" held throughout August in Kodo Town, Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture. Various kinds of wind chimes are hung throughout the town, and when the wind blows, they ring all at once. We also do wind chime coloring experiences and yukata dressing sessions. There is also a small river flowing, and how about 🤗 cooling off with the sound of wind chimes and the murmur of the river?

Tambo art is one of the most popular artistic activity in Japan during the summer time. In tambo art the whole paddy field used as a canvas. Different colored or varieties of rice or paddy are planted to create the an amazing picture depending on the theme of that year. This is from Fukui prefecture's Takefu knife village where the school students prepared this beautiful cherry tree using tambo art. Its really very attractive and unique activity which everyone would love to see. The best time to enjoy this kind art varies but August to September might be the best time.

At Imizu Shrine in Toyama Prefecture, the first time "Mizuomikuji" was served in the summer. It was a hot day, but it was cool~ 😊

During the summer times the mountains looks so green with the fresh leafs. From the Hinode park in Hokkaido I got this very picturesque photo where a vast range of mountains can be seen. Additionally the patchwork fields creates the scenario more beautiful.

Samba is the traditional Brazilian dance and a cultural heritage of that country. Although in Tokyo there are not so many Brazilian but very fortunately there is a Samba carnival in Tokyo which is known as Asakusa Samba Carnival. The carnival is very colorful and full of joy and entertainment. Due to the corona pandemic last 2 years the carnival was cancelled and it seems this year also the carnival will be cancelled but in 2019 I was able to enjoy it. It was my 1st time to enjoy such a colorful and cheerful festival.

In Japan summer means the season of festivals. There are many festivals here and there. One such festival is Eisa dance festival of Shinjuku. Eisa dance is originated from Japan's tropical weather area, Okinawa. The whole festival is very enjoyable and exciting. Although the performance day was very hot around 34 degree but it was not reflecting on face of the performers. They are really very energetic. The rhythmic movements of all performer and also the drum beats makes the whole environment very charming and enjoyable.

A brilliant colorful summer festival. This is eisa festival a traditional dance festival of okinawa. Okinawa is a great tropical destination of Japan. The unique costumes, musical instruments and dance moves can instantly attract anyone's attention. Although the outside is hot and humid still this young performer is performing so happily and enthusiastically that I was really very surprised and impressed.
