Here are some recommended experiences. In Urahoro Town, where forestry is thriving, charcoal burning has been practised for about 100 years. At one of the few remaining charcoal kilns in Japan, you can hear stories about charcoal from the producers and experience traditional Japanese techniques and culture. On this tour, you will visit shrines where you can experience Japanese history and culture, learn how to worship directly from the priest, and after worshipping, draw omikuji fortune slips and experience the Japanese hospitality of tea ceremony. Additionally, you will experience mochi-tsuki (mochi pounding), a traditional Japanese ritual where mochi is pounded as an offering to the gods. You will make and eat anko mochi (mochi with red bean paste) and ozoni (mochi soup) yourself. Mochi-tsuki is a traditional Japanese ritual where gratitude is offered to the gods and their power is shared. As it is a collaborative activity performed by multiple people, it also serves as an opportunity to deepen bonds with family and community members. In the afternoon, we will experience charcoal burning. In Japan, charcoal has been produced since ancient times using traditional techniques to carbonise wood. Cooking with charcoal brings out the sweetness of ingredients and makes them taste delicious. It also has various other effects, such as purifying water by adsorbing impurities and deodorising by adsorbing and removing substances that cause unpleasant odours. On this tour, you will experience the deliciousness of ingredients cooked on a charcoal barbecue. 【Climbing 👟 Shiraiwa for the first time in a long yellowtail】 From the 13th ~ 17th, the town road Honyashiki / Namiki Line became passable for both general cars, so I left my Car at the Gokase Highland Skiing Resort Skiing Center and climbed 💪 up to ShiraIwayama (rocky mountain) The management road to the Skiing Resort is not passable for general cars, so we first aimed ✨ for the Burdockhata Trailhead on foot After about 30 minutes of walking, we arrived at 💡 the Burdockhata Trailhead From there, I climbed 😊 Shiraiwa for the yellowtail time in a long time The Mountain Trail was bumpy at first, and but it was easy to walk and the weather was cool, so I was able ✨ to climb without much load At the summit, we were able to exchange valuable Information and learn about 👍 the situation of neighboring mountains The photo shows the chestnut tiger and wildflowers 🥰 that I encountered along the way I was able to walk on the white Iwayama (rocky mountain) for the first time in a long yellowtail, and it was 😆 refreshing

The deep green of Usa Jingu Shrine, which symbolizes "summer in Japan". In the sunlight shining through the trees, I captured the moment when my father passed through the vermilion Torii (shrine gate). This Torii (shrine gate) is the boundary between the sacred and the mundane, a symbol of purification and vitality.   Usa Jingu Shrine, the Main Shrine of the Hachiman faith, is a sacred place where my ancestors, the Karashima clan, especially Katsuotome Karashima, were deeply involved in its founding. The image of the father passing through the Torii (shrine gate) gate symbolizes the way in which the lineage and faith are passed down from generation to generation, following in the footsteps of distant ancestors.   This trip was a powerful and healing experience for me, like a large tree taking root in my heart. I was touched by the vitality of Usa Jingu Shrine in summer and the history of my ancestors, and I realized that my Roux is deeply rooted in this Great Earth. This is more than just a summer scene, it is a piece that conveys an ancient bond and inner peace.
