During the autumn foliage season from mid-November to mid-December, congestion occurs on Prefectural Route 287 Namiki Road and surrounding roads on weekends between 11:00 and 18:00.

Please help ease traffic by visiting on weekdays when it is less crowded or by using the Makino Kogen Free Temporary Parking at the north end of the avenue. If you use public transportation, take JR Makino Station and then the Takashima City Community Bus Makino Highland Line.

The avenue and nearby roads are vital local residential streets.
Please do not park or stop on the road.
The surrounding roads are residential streets.
Slow down and watch for pedestrians.
So that as many people as possible can enjoy the area, follow photography etiquette and avoid dangerous actions such as stopping on crosswalks or stepping into the roadway to take pictures.

Today I attended the monthly festival at Kawagoe Hikawa Shrine.
These are the autumn leaves on the shrine grounds. 🍁

Today I took a certification exam in the Ōmiya area.
I think I did my best. 💮
I had a gingerbread latte and a nuts and caramel cheesecake.

Ryosokuji Temple, known as the Maple Temple, is a famous spot for autumn leaves.
About 150 maple trees line the approach from the main gate and throughout the temple grounds, their vivid crimson coloring the temple.

The autumn colors of Kankakei Gorge on Shōdoshima offered a vast panorama. By the way, aside from the ropeway, the dramatic scenery along the driving routes is unlike anything else, so I recommend it.

While sensing the deeper atmosphere of alleyways and the village, let’s search together for those views you’ll want to keep to yourself.
A great part of the photowalk is sharing perspectives and discoveries with other participants. Bring whatever camera you like and hunt for those little secret scenes.

On the day, photographer Tsutomu Ogino, who handles Mihama Town photography, will accompany the group.
As winter’s presence begins to show, let’s enjoy a pleasant time together.

Hello from the Shosenkyo Tourist Association 😊 The autumn colors at Shosenkyo are gradually giving way to signs of winter.
Rain and wind have started to strip leaves from the trees, but you can still enjoy autumn foliage around Kakuen Peak to Senga Falls for a little while longer 🍁✨

Golden leaves glowing in the sunlight, a carpet of soft fallen leaves underfoot, and the sound of the waterfall echoing through the quiet gorge…

The Ehime Prefectural Office in Osaka will host the "Ehime Saijo Fair" for three days, from Wednesday, December 3 through Friday, December 5, 2025.

We will offer seasonal local fruits and vegetables; anpo persimmons, a specialty of Shuso (semi-dried persimmons); rich carrot juice made from Saijo-grown carrots; Ishizuchi kurocha (Ishizuchi black tea); jams; local sake; nori seaweed; and other products from Saijo. Also making their debut are fragrant aonori financiers (financiers made with aonori, a type of green laver). We will also promote Saijo City's attractions and provide tourist information.
