August 15. Hatsubon. I went back to my parents' house. Fireworks at the grave of my deceased grandfather. We talked about our memories of our grandfathers and the latest news of each of them. Although she is a little embarrassed to see her parents and cousins for the yellowtail first time in a long time, everyone's hands gather around the candlelight. I hope this time continues. This is one that I took in a hurry just with that in mind. I'll be back again. My memories of this summer.

This is a photo of Kawarage Hell in Akita Prefecture that I went to this summer. The yellow area is where sulfur is exposed, and toxic gas is also emitted, so there is a no-go area. It took us 6 hours round trip in the extreme heat to traverse a gravel mountain where not a single plant or tree grows. I wanted to soak in the Hot Spring at Oyu Falls at the foothills, but the intense heat made me have no energy and after returning to the inn, I enjoyed the Specialties mud Hot Spring until late at night

I went to Kawarage Hell in the central part of Akita Prefecture this summer. I left my luggage in the Outbound Ryokan to the muddy Hot Spring with the demand Taxi I had reserved from Yuzawa Station, and the inn told me that it was a 15-minute one-way walk, but it took me 30 minutes due to the heat on Squid climb. From this point, you can go down the sulfur mountain in the photo to Yuno Falls. I prepared a water suit, but I was exhausted from the heat and didn't have the energy to go in. When I came here about 50 years ago, many people were enjoying the Hot Spring, but this year I saw only 2~3 people Squid the heat. I was told that the descent would take about 15 minutes, but in Squid end, it took me 6 hours to go back and forth. On the way, I received a worried phone from the inn. It was good to arrive in time for dinner at the inn

In the relentless blaze of Osaka’s summer, golden sunflowers rise proudly along the station walkway with their vibrant faces turned skyward as if challenging the sun itself. But amid the shimmering heat, I admire how the gardeners move with quiet grace, their sweat-soaked dedication transforming this urban stretch into a radiant corridor of joy. Each bloom they nurture becomes a testament to their care, and in the midst of the season’s harshness, their work deserves every ounce of admiration—for they don’t just grow flowers, they cultivate joy.
