In recent years, with the increase in the number of mountain climbers, the number of accidents during mountain climbing has increased. In particular, it seems that there are many people who report that their feet hurt during the descent. Prepare well according to your physical strength, muscle strength, technique, and experience, and never overdo it. Mt. Mekan is a mountain that is relatively easy to climb even for beginners, but it is a 1500m-class mountain in Hokkaido. Even in summer (around July), depending on the weather, the temperature can be close to 0°C, or it can be 35°C or higher. In addition, even if the Downtown area of Ashoro is sunny, there are many cases where the weather is bad at Mt. Meakan. There are also sudden changes in the weather.
