Early autumn in Gokase 🌾 Mornings and evenings have turned quite cool — actually almost cold at times 😂 The rice fields are golden and harvest has begun; you can see rice hung out to dry in places 😊 Spider lilies seem past their peak, but cosmos flowers were blooming everywhere 🌸 When I visited the cotton fields in Kuraoka, the fluffy cotton bolls had burst open 😍 I enjoyed the pleasant autumn breeze and felt the season of harvest 😆

Every year, Iiya Shrine in Hamamatsu holds an Annual Grand Festival on the 22nd of September, the day of the death of the God of worship. And at night, we comfort the spirits with hand-held fireworks and other divine events. On the day of the event, I drove my car to see the hand-held fireworks and visited Iiya Shrine. Powerful performance in which you hold a tube filled with gunpowder in your hand and are bathed in sparks all over your body It was powerful enough to blow away the summer heat

Shimoda Brewing Company opened this spring about a five-minute walk from Izukyu-Shimoda Station (●´ω｀●). The brewery is located inside the taproom, so you can enjoy freshly brewed craft beer on the spot— a luxurious moment in Shimoda.🍺✨ In summer, of course, you can savor it casually; on long autumn nights you can savor its depth, and in the dry winter air a refreshing pint will hit the spot.♬ Beers enjoyed with the seasons each have their own character. For my craft beer debut that day, I chose “SUNSET,” which has the lowest IBU (bitterness rating). Its light, crisp profile was perfect for a first glass. Next time, I’m looking forward to deliberately trying a beer with a higher IBU. Tasting different beers each season feels like a way to discover the depth of beer. The 3rd “Amakusa Reihoku Literary Walk” tourism route creation workshop was held🎊 On September 25, the third workshop was held in Reihoku to develop a sightseeing walking route that turns literary spots and heritage in Reihoku Town into new tourist resources, allowing visitors to enjoy the “Literary Treasures of Reihoku.”✨ This third session focused on taking a deeper look at writers connected to Reihoku Town. Participants researched as if they were actually guiding tours and presented their findings to one another. Each participant’s guide showed a unique personality, making for an absorbing time.👏 The final, fourth workshop is planned for late October to early November♪ We will hold a fun workshop to exchange opinions based on the walking route proposals and guide manual developed from previous workshops, so please join us.👀 *We plan to open applications on our website in early October.* We also welcome ideas and insider tips for route planning from those who cannot attend the workshop.
