What a cool photo. I keep seeing pictures and stuff of Takachiho Gorge and I really want to go. I watched a video of it on here recently and it was really beautiful. Miyazaki seems like a really fun place to visit in general so it'd fun to get out there and try the boats and see all of the natural scenery. It had some really nice looking shrines that I was interested in visiting as well. It's so hard to visit all of the beautiful places scattered throughout Japan but I've got time so I'm gonna do my best lol. Earned some flight miles this year so I'm definitely heading out somewhere this summer. Maybe it'll be Miyazaki, we'll see. Although I've had my eye on Nagano lately as well so it's a toss up for now.

From Kurumayama to Washigamine, the Kirigamine Plateau continues with gentle undulations. Seasonal alpine plants such as Astragalus azalea, Nikko kisuge, and Matsumushiso dye the green meadow in various colors. Mt. Fuji, the Alps, the Yatsugatake mountain range, and other famous peaks that Japan are proud of are also overlooked. "Ice Trees and the Rising Sun" I was about to give up due to the ridiculously strong wind and the cold cloudiness, Somehow, it cleared up at sunrise and the view changed to a superb view at once. "Yatsugatake and the Milky Way in Winter" The perfect cloudless Milky Way day came, I photographed the Milky Way along with Yatsugatake at my favorite shooting point. It was the best with a starry sky! I used a soft filter to capture a large image of the stars. It is a sticking point. Location: Nagano

In the 69th order of the Nakasendō, the pure Nakasendō 67-juku (from Itabashi to Moriyama), which surpasses Kusatsu and Otsu-juku shared with the Tokaido, Narai-juku is the 34th post town in the middle of the Nakasendō, counting from Itabashi-juku on the Edo side and Moriyama-juku on the Kyoto side. The post town that prospered with many travelers at the highest altitude of the 11 Kiso inns, ahead of the difficult Torii Pass, was called "Narai Senken". The townscape has been selected as a national important preservation district for groups of traditional buildings, and retains a strong trace of the past. "Illuminate the footprints" I took a picture of the morning sun climbing near Mt. Yokote and the footprints of animals left in the snowfield. Although it was cold, I was very satisfied that I was able to take a picture of the light streak. Location: Nagano Shiga Kogen

Beautiful Morgenrot in the Northern Alps.

Such a beautiful place. Leave it to Nagano Prefecture to have yet another amazing sightseeing destination surrounded by beautiful scenery. Watching the video felt so calming. It's such a serene atmosphere and feels completely detached from the rest of the world. It makes me imagine an earth where humanity no longer exists and everything is being reclaimed by the earth. I like how there's several different shrines in the area. The gate Zuijinmon just feels like it's a boundary between worlds too; very surreal. The massive trees reminded me of the redwoods back when I visited the redwood forest in California. I'd really love to explore this area and find some hidden views. I wonder if it's changed much in the 8 years since this video was taken.

There is always a wood-burning stove in the lobby. It is a place of relaxation for everyone.

Photographed from the ropeway of Kita Yatsugatake. It was sunny that day, so we took the ropeway. However, when I reached the summit, it was cloudy、、。 I can't read the weather in the mountains. The summit was very cold at -12°C.
