It's such a serene atmosphere and feels completely detached from the rest of the world. It makes me imagine an earth where humanity no longer exists and everything is being reclaimed by the earth. I like how there's several different shrines in the area. The gate Zuijinmon just feels like it's a boundary between worlds too; very surreal. The massive trees reminded me of the redwoods back when I visited the redwood forest in California. I'd really love to explore this area and find some hidden views. I wonder if it's changed much in the 8 years since this video was taken.
