What an amazing view. I've only been to Chiba a few times, but never this far down south. This Cape Nojima looks really amazing though. I can imagine it's quite the view for anyone living near the water. I guess there's a lighthouse here as well, I'd like to see that, maybe take some photos. There's also an "Ocean Museum" near here as well I guess that looks pretty cool. They have some paintings, scrolls, ship ornaments and other stuff like that it seems. I wonder if you can learn about the history of fishing in the area or something. I always like seeing documents and materials that show stuff about how people lived in the past or how a certain region has changed. This photo feels so strange though, it feels like it's a deserted area almost, despite being modern looking. Just a weird feeling I guess lol. Great photo though!

Scenic swing

This is a summer sunset view of Cape Nojima, the southernmost tip of the Boso Peninsula, which I visited on my first trip before getting married to my wife. It's been three years since then, but now that my son was born, it's a place that the three of us definitely want to visit next time. The dinner buffet at an old-fashioned inn called Nankaiso, which is located right next to Cape Nojima, is also one of the things I look forward to.

Suzu City, Ishikawa Prefecture Mitsuke Island and the Milky Way The magnificent Milky Way spreads out in a very quiet rural town. If it is sunny from March ~ October, you can see it with the naked eye. Since it is far from Wakura Onsen, it is good (^○^) to eat fresh seafood at a guest house run by a nearby fisherman. Noto is a wonderful place where the sea is very transparent, the air is fresh, seafood, Noto beef, and alcohol are delicious. Amazing.. This is a scene that I never get tired of seeing. It's such a scenic location already and then you have the beautiful torii gates as well. There's something about the gates at Motonosumi Inari Shrine and the ones at Fushimi Inari Shrine that look so mystical, like they're really transporting you to another world. On a side note, I've been seeing a lot of Yamaguchi Prefecture lately and I'm starting to realize that it has a bunch of cool stuff. The Akiyoshido caves and Tsunoshima Bridge, and the weather just looks fantastic. Looking forward to more sunny weather like this, so hopefully the rainy season isn't too bad. It's definitely a bit earlier than usual this year, that's for sure.

Wow, what a breathtaking view. It really does look just like a mirror, it's incredible how perfect the reflection is. I really love the green as well, it's such a brilliant shade it really gives you the feeling of the rich, verdant countryside. I've had a love of rice fields since before I can remember, just because they look so beautiful and you can really appreciate the technology of humankind through them. I've never seen the rice fields in Kyoto to be honest, only the temples and shrines, which isn't exactly unfortunate, but I would really like to get out into the countryside as well. This reminds me so much of Akita as well and I only have fond memories of my time there. Going to have to throw the rice fields of Kyoto on my list for my next visit. On a bit of a tangent, it's pretty amazing you can take photos like this on cell phones now. Incredible how far we've come.

#AfterCorona I would like to go back to Tokumeien Garden in Takasaki... The mystical atmosphere makes me feel so peaceful and calm. A wonderful place.

It's interesting how Japan has so many blue lakes. It's such a strange phenomenon. I'm not sure if the color in all of them is due to the same phenomenon, but the one in Biei is supposedly colored blue because of aluminum and other minerals that scatter sunlight in just the right way. I have a feeling this one isn't the same because the one in Biei was formed only after a dam was made, but I'm interested to learn what exactly causes it here. I actually hadn't heard of this blue lake before but Aomori has some really nice scenery so it's not too surprising. Also Shirakami-Sanchi is a UNESCO heritage site for a reason I suppose lol. I'd like to go see this and the Nebuta Festival in Aomori as that's supposed to be really awesome as well. Maybe it's possible to see them during the same visit?
