It is a drooping cherry blossom in Kaibara, Shimoichi Town, Nara Prefecture. The branches of the two trees are connected, making it a very spectacular drooping cherry blossom.

The drooping cherry blossoms along the Kumano Kodo in Tanabe City, Wakayama Prefecture, are said to have been ordered from Gion in Kyoto in 1747 by Rokuro Yoshimori, the 19th head of the Nonagase family, in the middle of the Edo period.

It is a superb view of Odaigahara, Nara Prefecture.

In August 2023, I climbed the mountain to photograph Yakusugi. We walked for 10 hours round trip, and along the way, we saw wonderful scenery and powerful Yakusugi cedars. The scenery was really reminiscent of Princess Mononoke. It is understandable that it is chosen as a superb view that you want to go to before you die.
