It snowed on New Year's Day 2022, so I went to Kinkakuji Temple at the same time as the gate opened. Snow clouds covered the sky until just before the gate opened, but it was clear just before the gate opened, and I was able to see the snow-covered Kinkakuji Temple under the blue sky.
