The Choja Bridge and pleasure boats of the Shogawa Gorge. I took this photo in time with the sightseeing boat that departs at 9 o'clock in the morning.
If you come from the Toyama side, you can go to Shirakawa-go and Gokayama after sightseeing in Shogawakyo, so it is definitely recommended for car travel. It was also very refreshing to drive along the river road towards the next destination, Shirakawa-go.
It was snowing the day before, so I thought there would be a little more snowfall, but it's quite difficult.

We crossed to Nakajima by Lake Toya steamer and trekked around the island in 3 hours. After walking for more than 1 hour, we arrived at the lake shore opposite the Nakajima pier. From there, Mt. Yotei (Ezo Fuji) in spring is reflected in the lake, making it look like an upside-down Fuji. It was beautiful to see the white Mt. Yotei with the remaining snow shimmering on the surface of Lake Toya. I sat by the lake and didn't want to move for a while. I had a mysterious feeling that I wanted to live here with a tepee (Indian tent) (laughs). A view that you can't see unless you come here at a certain time. It was awesome!

5 minutes by ferry from Moji Port in Fukuoka Prefecture. One photo taken in Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi Prefecture, Karato Town. The wide sky, the endless scent of the sea and tide. The Kanmon Bridge connects the great outdoors. While I couldn't travel much because of the Coronavirus pandemic, I was able to go to the countryside for the first time in a long time and feel nature. Digital content has evolved greatly in the Coronavirus pandemic, and the enhancement of "home time" has been remarkable. However, I was reminded that there is nothing better than going to see a scenery that I have never seen with my own eyes or feet. I would be happy if you could feel a sense of nostalgia from this photo. New stimuli are pleasant, no matter how old you are.

COOL JAPAN VIDEOS Photo Contest PR

Introducing the photos posted on "Everyone's Post"! This is a pickup post of the inbound tourism information SNS "Cool Japan Video". Today, I would like to introduce "Koichi Hakuchuu's post "Snow and Kaminarimon." The snowy landscape, large lanterns, and scenery of Nakamise Street are fantastic photos. Kaminarimon (Kaminarimon) is the main gate of Sensoji Temple in Asakusa, Taito-ku, Tokyo. The official name is Furaijinmon, and it comes from the fact that the god of wind is on the right and the god of thunder is on the left side facing the gate. The large red lantern with the word "Kaminarimon" written on it in the center of the gate is 3.9 meters high, 3.3 meters wide, and weighs about 700 kg. It is a popular tourist spot as a symbol of Asakusa. Kaminarimon has a long history, and the first Kaminarimon was built in 941. After that, it was repeatedly destroyed and rebuilt, and the current Kaminarimon gate was rebuilt in 1960. From the end of Kaminarimon to the entrance of Sensoji Temple, "Nakamise Street" that runs for about 250 meters is popular with tourists for eating and gourmets! A variety of gourmet dishes such as fried buns, okaki, and kibidango are lined up, and the strawberry daifuku skewer with a love lottery at the manju restaurant "Kikusuido" has become a hot topic on SNS! You can enjoy strawberries, castella, and daifuku at once. The standard doll grill as a souvenir of Asakusa is also recommended in bite-sized pieces and easy to eat. ◆Kaminarimon (風雷神門)◆ 【Address】〒111-0032 2-3-1 Asakusa, Taito-ku, Tokyo 【Access】 Tobu Skytree Line: 5-minute walk from Asakusa Station Tokyo Metro Ginza Line: 5-minute walk from Asakusa Station 【Parking Lot】Yes: Kaminarimon Underground Parking Lot, in front of Kaminarimon Be careful of crowds between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Please check the official website for details.
