Senninzuka Park is a nature park located in the Shichikubo district of Iijimamachi. In the Sengoku period there was a mountain castle called Kitayama Castle nearby. A legend says the castle fell to an Oda clan invasion and the soldiers who died there, along with their arms, were buried at this site. That is why the place came to be called Senninzuka, meaning "Thousand-Person Mound." Today you can enjoy cherry blossoms around Jōga Pond, an auto campsite, a mallet golf course, and different activities by season. Winter camping is also possible.
