Autumn on Mt. Ōyama 2024速報 This is Mt. Ōyama as of the morning of Thursday, November 7, under clear autumn skies. The leaves are just beginning to change color. From around 700 meters, a view that earned two stars in the Michelin Green Guide Japan offers a breathtaking panorama of Sagami Bay, Enoshima, the Miura Peninsula and the Bōsō Peninsula. The autumn foliage near the Happiness Bell and the Love-Tying Bell right by the cable car’s Ōyama-dera Station is especially beautiful now—be sure to ring the bell. Sunset comes early, so if you plan to reach the summit, start early in the morning and allow plenty of time. We look forward to welcoming you again this year with that wonderful view. Today, I am taking a walk in Kawagoe only in the morning. I've been curious, Maestro Maesutoro. It is open every Wednesday on the first floor of Resona Coedo Terrace. Kawagoe tea (yuzu) and berry nut galette. Galette combines nuts with blackcurrant and berry jam. It has sweet and sour tastes and is and delicious. Kawagoe tea also goes well with yuzu. The body warms up. Today, it is open until 15:00. Congratulations on your grand opening. ㊗️🎉

After the Yabusame at Izumo Ihabi Shrine, we moved to Kawagoe to see Ishihara's Sasara Lion Dance. Today was a good day. 😊

This morning, I went to see Yabusame at Izumo Ihabi Shrine. It was so fast that I couldn't take a picture of the arrow. 😭

After prayer to Kawagoe Hikawa Shrine, I relaxed at the Starbucks Bell Ring Street store. Macadamia white snow mocha and white chocolate macadamia donuts.

Today, I attended the Kawagoe Hikawa Shrine Monthly Festival. It is a one-year cheap sea bream lottery. It was taken on October 8th, and there were fewer yellow sea bream lottery tickets today.

[Bear Sighting] On Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at around 4:43 p.m., a Asian black bear (tsukinowaguma) was sighted in the Oyama area. Sightings have also been reported in nearby mountain areas, not limited to Oyama. Residents and visitors in the area are asked to be cautious in advance. [Precautions if you encounter a bear] 1 Do not approach unnecessarily and avoid eye contact. 2 Do not shout or behave in a threatening manner. 3 Do not feed or show food to the bear. 4 Leave the area promptly. 5 Secure doors and windows to prevent bears from entering homes and buildings. Isehara Halloween 2024 Isehara Halloween 2024 was held on Sunday, October 27, organized by the Isehara City Merchants' Association Federation. With a variety of booths and many food trucks, the event was lively and bustling, especially with families attending and plenty of cute costumes on display.
