No season is offseason for Japan. In summer there are so many thing to see and do here. Last weekend I enjoyed thousand light festival at Kawagoe where the warehouse area was looked absolutely gorgeous for the lights and other stalls and stage activities. Everyone was enjoying and most of the local people wear traditional cloths too. It was truly a delightful experienced.

The first time I went to ? the Mobara Tanabata Festival It was the first time in 4 years that it was held, and it was exciting! Everyone seemed to be having fun Awa Odori seeing it for the first time. I wanted ✨ to dance too. The people who finished dancing were bowing. It was very impressive. I want to see the real Awa Odori!

開智国際日本語学校（Kaichi International School of Japanese）

A 10-minute walk from the school, I bought tokoroten at a konjac shop founded in 1881 (Meiji 14). Tokoroten is very cheap at 376 yen for 3 pieces, and you can buy it freshly. You can use a special stick to cut it into thin pieces on the spot, or you can buy a stick and go home. Since it was a big deal, I bought a stick this time and went home! It was my first experience making tokoroten and it was very interesting! And the taste was the best I've ever eaten. There was no smell, and it was delicious with a refreshing flavor. International students are often surprised that many Japanese foods use seaweed. Because it is healthy, some people get addicted. Please eat cold tokoroten and get through the hot summer.

学校から徒歩10分、明治14年に創業したこんにゃく屋さんでところてんを買いました。ところてんは3つで376円ととても安く、できたてを買うことができます。専用のつき棒を使ってその場で細く切ることもできるし、つき棒を買って帰ることもできます。せっかくなので、今回はつき棒を買って帰りました！ところてんを作る作業は初めての経験でとても面白かったです！そして味は今まで食べたところてんでダントツの1番でした。臭みもなく、さわやかな風味でおいしかったです。留学生は日本の食べ物で海藻を使っているものが多いことに、よく驚いています。ヘルシーなので、はまってしまう人もいます。ぜひ、みなさんも冷たいところてんを食べて暑い夏を乗り切ってくださいね。

July 23: Onuma Park in Nasushiobara I went to photograph the summer marshland. Since it is near a tourist spot, I thought that many tourists would come, Almost no one came, and you can take pictures of the great outdoors as much as you want! Although it was bad, I put out three photos that I liked. Long exposure with ND filter makes the water surface smooth, I dared to take a fluffy picture of the grass with subject blur. I don't know if that's good, but I'm complacent. It's the Great Swamp hidden gem in Shiobara!

観光地の近くなので大勢の観光客が来てるかと思ってましたが、
ほとんど人も来てなく、大自然を独り占め撮影し放題！
下手くそながら、気に入った3枚を出させていただきました。
NDフィルターで長時間露光にて水面は滑らかに、
草むらはあえて、被写体ブレでふわふわな感じに撮りました。
それが良いのか分かりませんが、自己満足です。
塩原の大沼穴場です！

As a field trip, I went to the "Kan Clean Center" that was just built in Hachioji last year. 15 minutes by bus from Takao Station. It is located in a green place. The facility is very clean and spacious, with modern systems for processing garbage. The facility information was available in various languages, so even foreigners could understand it. You can see trucks entering the facility and garbage being collected live. There were also separate quizzes, and the students were able to have a lot of fun learning.

校外学習として去年八王子にできたばかりの「館クリーンセンター」に行きました。高尾駅からバスで15分。緑豊かな場所にあります。施設はとてもきれいで広く、最新のシステムでゴミを処理しています。施設案内は各国語あり、外国人でも理解できるようになっていました。トラックが施設に入ってくる様子や、ゴミが集められる様子は生で見ることができます。分別クイズなどもあったりと学生たちはとても楽しみながら学ぶことができました。

Tanabata is coming soon. The signboard of Hachioji Station and the plaza in front of the station are also decorated for Tanabata. Our school also made Tanabata decorations. The ones we make will be decorated in collaboration with the ballet studio next door. Children attending ballet studios can read the wishes of international students, and students can learn what wishes Japanese children are making. It's a small thing, but it's a good opportunity to interact with the community.

During the beautiful wisteria season, I decided to go to a certain flower park. I triumphantly straddled the motorcycle, but there was no sign of it arriving farther than I expected. At that time, as I proceeded to be drawn by the words "Great Wisteria in Tamaki Park" that appeared on the sign, a magnificent wisteria tree appeared, which was as good as the famous wisteria. I bought coffee and fried bread nearby, ate it while watching, immersed myself in the calm atmosphere of the surroundings, which is not found in large facilities, and went home satisfied that day.

藤の綺麗な季節、思い立って某フラワーパークに行こうと思い立った。意気揚々とバイクに跨り向かったが、思いのほか遠く全然着く気配がない。そんな時に標識に現れた「玉敷公園の大藤」の文字に引かれるように進むと、有名な大藤に負けず劣らない立派な藤の木が現れた。近くでコーヒーと揚げパンを買って眺めながら食べて、大きな施設にはない周囲の穏やかな空気感に浸り、その日は満足して帰路についた。

On Saturdays and Sundays, there are events by Geiko, and you can experience Japanese culture, which is popular with students. The shops in the shopping street are also unique and very fun, so please come and visit us.

Saitama Stadium 2002 in Saitama City is famous as the largest stadium dedicated to soccer in the East, and it shows a variety of wonderful scenery throughout the four seasons. Especially during the cherry blossom season, you can enjoy the collaboration of cherry blossoms in full bloom and the stadium lit up in pink.
