At this antique market, we sell the famous "Tankan" from Yamato Village in Amami Oshima, Kagoshima Prefecture! Tankan is "a subtropical citrus native to China that favors high temperatures born from the Nature crossing of ponkan and orange" (quoted from Yamato Village website). It looks ordinarily delicious. By the way, Yamato Village in Kagoshima Prefecture is about 1,500 km from Yamato City, Kanagawa Prefecture, and it takes about 250 hours on foot. Thank you for coming all the way ...!

The vibrant colors and intricate patterns of her kimono contrast beautifully with the lush greenery and ornate architecture surrounding the temple. Sensoji evokes a unique blend of emotions; it is a place steeped in rich traditions, where the scent of incense wafts through the air, inviting visitors to partake in centuries-old customs. At the same time, the area buzzes with contemporary energy, filled with trendy shops and lively street vendors, creating a remarkable fusion of the old and the new that captivates both locals and travelers alike.

We visited Hachioji City No. 5 Elementary School and had an exchange meeting with 2nd graders! We enjoyed fruit baskets and rock-paper-scissors cars. I also taught 😊 the children "Myanmar rock-paper-scissors"

During my recent trip, I stumbled upon Edo-koji, a charming Edo Market Place in the international terminal at Haneda Airport. The area is adorned with quaint, wooden shops that evoke the spirit of an Edo-era village, complete with a small stage that occasionally features captivating cultural displays. On this visit, I was drawn to a stunning pair of two-folded byōbu (folding screens) featuring an enchanting painting of the Wind God and Thunder God. This remarkable piece, crafted by the renowned Rinpa artist Ogata Kōrin, is a replica of an exquisite work by Tawaraya Sōtatsu, illustrating Raijin, the tempestuous god of lightning and storms, alongside Fūjin, the gentle god of wind. Honestly, what could be cooler than this? It’s a perfect representation of Japan’s rich artistic heritage right at the heart of the airport!

Back to Atami! 🤿 📍 Atami City, Shizuoka Continuing from yesterday, dive into the waters of Atami! 🌊 The inside of the sea changes every day, so you have to go right away so as not to miss the "seasonal" sea! 👍 🔹 Transparency is more than 15m! In the clear blue water, the huge wreck "Asahi 16" with a total length of 81 meters has an overwhelming presence 👏 This wreck lies in the sand at a depth of about 30 meters, and the depth of water on the deck is about 20 meters. The ship was originally carrying gravel and is said to have sunk in 1986. It is one of the largest divable wrecks in Japan, and its sense of scale is impressive! 🚢✨ Parts of the crumbling hull are thrilling 🤩, almost like an adventure movie 🔹 We also dived into the cave point, which is limited to the winter season! On a sunny day, the cave is flooded with light and has a fantastic beauty. There is no doubt that it is a special experience unique to this time of year! And... Ryogenji Temple, which was built as a family temple of Honda Tadakatsu, was opened in the 4th year of Bunroku (1595) by inviting the Ryōgakujin of Shimousa Kogane Tojoji Temple. At first, it was called Ryoshinji, but during the Masatomo Dynasty, it became Ryogenji after Tadakatsu's commandment. 　There are also the graves of Honda Tadakatsu, Mrs. Tadakatsu, and Tadatomo. Tadakatsu and Tadatomo were divided and this tomb was erected.

It is a sunflower field in Dewa Park in Koshigaya City, Saitama Prefecture. The Musashino Line passes Soba (buckwheat noodles) right next to it. Trains running toward the Sunrise in the early morning, and sunflowers blooming with all their might toward the Sunrise. In this way, bathed in the Sunrise, the creatures are full of power to do their best today.

Today, we interviewed Mr. 168. It is a collaboration menu with Kichijoten. It is a set of 鹹湯圓 (鹹湯圓), Roux Lo rice and side dishes. 鹹湯圓 is a white jade soup with minced meat. Popular peach buns 🍑 (walnut bean paste) were very popular. The peach buns, unfortunately, are not photographed, but they are so delicious that I ate them in no time. The Roux Lo rice is also very delicious. 😊
