[Echizen daffodil blooming status on Friday, December 20, 2024] The weather has been cold for some time now, and the pace of flowering has slowed down. It is beginning to bloom here and there, but as a whole, it is still almost before flowering. It has been delayed for about 3 weeks, and the best time to see it is around the beginning of January. ◎ Echizen daffodil flowering status [Updated on Friday, December 20, 2024] https://town-echizen.jp/news/detail.php?id=635...

Mt. Mt. Aoba, covered in snow, symbolizes ❄️ the winter scenery of Takahama While the weather is getting colder day by day, today we can see a little sunny, and the blue sky spreads over the snow-covered Mt. Aoba. The contrast between the pure white snow and the clear blue sky is magical, and it is breathtaking. Even in the middle of winter, Takahama offers heartwarming and beautiful moments that visit and brighten up the seasons.

We will deliver Tourist Information of Nagiso Town! Momosuke Bridge【National Important Cultural Property】 The Momosuke Bridge is one of the largest wooden suspension bridges in Japan with a total length of 247 meters and a width of 2.7 meters over the Kiso River, and you can still walk across it even now. In the 11th year of the Taisho era, Momosuke Fukuzawa (son-in-law of Yukichi Fukuzawa), who was called the power king, built it as a 🌲🚃 material transportation route for the development of hydroelectric power generation on the Kiso River As a Village road from 1950 (Showa 25), it was very useful for traffic in both bank villages and for local transportation such as high school and junior high school students commuting to school, but from around 1978 (Showa 53), it was aging and could not be repaired Authentic, so it was on the verge of abandonment. However, there are many voices for preservation and utilization, and along with the Maintenance of Tenpaku Park in the surrounding area, it was restored as a modernization heritage (Nagiso Town Tangible Cultural Property)! In 1994 (Heisei 6), it was designated as a [National Important Cultural Property]. ✅ Highlights ・ A powerful suspension bridge built at the largest width of the Kiso River! At that time, a trolley rail for transporting materials was laid in the center of the bridge, so it has been restored so that traces of it can be seen. Please take a ✨ look ・ In Spring, you can also enjoy the cherry blossoms (Someiyoshino) blooming on the side of Nagiso Station. In addition, there is an azalea garden Thereare on the Takadai of "Tenpaku Park" where the Momosuke Bridge is located. Around the beginning of April, about 400 azaleas of 6 kinds, including the town flower "Mitsuba azaleas", bloom! ・ From the Observation decks opposite the azalea garden, you can see the Momosuke Bridge from above. ・You can go down to the river park from the middle of the Momosuke Bridge. ・ Spring, summer, autumn and winter, all seasons are recommended. Especially in Spring, cherry blossoms, Mitsuba azaleas, and peaches bloom all at once 🌸 ・ You can walk at night because the light is on. It is also recommended to take a picture with the stars. * Please be careful with your feet. access ・ Car: Immediately from Route 19, there is a free Car parking lot in the Tenpaku Park (30 cars), 3 minutes walk from the Car parking lot ・JR: About 5 minutes on foot from JR Nagiso Station * The Carp streamers 🎏 in the Spring photo are not currently on display.

2024.12.03 Maruyasu Tanakaya Main Store On this day, the gluttonous Kasai was again lured by the sweet Aroma and said, "I visited the main store of Maruyasu Tanakaya. The person who took time out of his busy schedule to talk to us was Mr. Tsuchihashi. There and a main store near the Suwa Lake, and there are two stores in the Suwa City of Kamisuwa Station, one in front of Kamisuwa Station. The company was founded in 1929 in front of Kamisuwa Station as Maruyasu Tanakaya. This year, it is a confectionery and cake shop that boasts a history of 95 years. Speaking of Maruyasu Tanakaya? It is a "cheesecake entremet" that can also be ordered!! It seems that the beauty advisor Chizu Saeki introduced it as a more well-known opportunity. Cheesecake entremet itself is a flagship product that has been loved for 40 years. It is also shipped nationwide, so I hope that people from all over Japan will be able to enjoy it! Maruyasu Tanakaya has a strong image of Western confectionery, but when it was first founded, it made Japanese sweets. The recipe from that time is still being used in "Yokan"! It is made with red beans and azuki beans carefully selected from the fact that we have been wholesaling Rice, so please enjoy yokan! Mr. Tsuchihashi's recommendation is the country of ⇒ Shinano!! Gastronomical delicacies with chopped chestnuts in Butter castella and wrapped in lemon cream with a refreshing aroma! It has been loved for about 50 years, likened to the prefectural song "Shinano no Kuni" that the people of the prefecture love! Also, on the side, the ♪ country of Shinano is ~ 十州にぃ~ The old country name of 10 provinces is on the side of the packing paper!! I love this wrapping paper so much that I use the packing paper of the previous model as a teaching material. Maruyasu Tanakaya There are a variety of sweets, so there is also an eat-in space! Everyone, please invite your friends to tea time and enjoy it. ★ Maruyasu Tanakaya Main Store 📍 3-1421-1 Takashima, Suwa City ☎ 0266-52-0126 ◎ Business hours: 10:00 ~ 19:00 ◎ Regular holiday : Closed on Wednesdays ◎ Online shop : https://www.suwa-tanakaya.jp/products/list... ◎ Home page: https://www.suwa-tanakaya.jp// Today, I went to “Maruyasu Tanakaya Main branch”. They have another branch close to Kamisuwa station. They started in 1929. So, this year 95 years!!! Many Japanese traditional sweets shop has long history. This day, Mr. Tsuchihashi Managing Director talk to me. Their shop’s famous product is “Cheese Cake Entreme”. It been loved for 40 years. Many media and magazine were coming in to the spotlight for Cheese Cake Entreme. They have online shop therefore, nationwide shipping. Please enjoy in your home. I imaged Maruyasu Tanakaya making western sweets just like Cheese Cake Entreme. But it was wrong… At the beginning their shop, it was Japanese Traditional sweets shop. Yokan (sweet bean jelly) is as it was then. Mr. Tsuchihashi’s recommendation is “Shinano no Kuni”. It is butter sponge cake inside chopped finely chestnut. Finally, Lemon cream covered it. Sounds so yummy, right? Definitely!!! They have many kinds of sweets. If you come to Suwa city. Please try them! I bet you like! ★ Maruyasu Tanakaya Main Branch 3-1421-1 Takashima, Suwa-shi, Nagano pref ☎ 0266-52-0126 ◎ Business hours: 10:00 ~ 19:00 ◎ Regular holiday: Closed on Wednesdays ◎ Online shop : https://www.suwa-tanakaya.jp/products/list... ◎ Homepage : https://www.suwa-tanakaya.jp// https://www.suwa-tanakaya.jp/products/list... https://www.suwa-tanakaya.jp//

Takaibashi (タカイバシ takaibashi) Entrance to Yamada Hot Spring in Takayama Village Takai Bridge is located at the gateway to the Matsukawa Valleys. In the colors of the Valleys that change in the four seasons, it is always dignified with its unchanging appearance. Nagano Prefecture is said to have a clear color of the four seasons. Takaibashi is a place where you can feel the four seasons at a fixed point. Valleys, budding in Spring, deep green in summer, Autumn leaves in autumn, and snowy scenery in winter. A red bridge that snuggles up to the four seasons of the Valleys. The scenery of Takai Bridge in winter is just cool! It is the world view of ink painting. Powder snow in the middle of winter does not stick to the branches, and it is a view that can be seen during this Period when there is a lot of wet snow, such as snow from rain. Also, the day when the sun shines on the pure white Valleys, the snow sparkles, and the sky turns bright blue is also "beautiful". This is also one of the scenes of Takaibashi that I want to show. The scenery that can be seen when the conditions are right is also the charm of Nature. Cool scenery in a cool season I would love to see it.

Echizen Town is packed with the charm of Japan! Tourist spots in Echizen Town as seen by foreigners In July 2024, the number of foreign visitors to Japan reached a single-month record of 3,292,500. The number of foreigners visiting Japan rises each year. Japan offers seasonal nature, traditional crafts, and cuisine that many foreigners find appealing. Many more visitors are likely to come to experience Japanese culture in the future. With mountains and sea, Echizen Town is a treasure trove for tourists. It especially offers many attractions that interest foreign visitors. This time, we interviewed travelers from overseas about the places in Echizen Town they would like to visit. We spread out a map of Echizen Town and, while checking online, each person planned their own Echizen sightseeing route. They want to eat delicious food and enjoy nature First is an American backpacker. This is his second trip to Japan. He travels around Asia while working as an online English teacher. What he wants to do in Japan is eat great food and enjoy nature. Places he picked to enjoy nature include Kochomon (Kochomon Gate) Hindani Waterfall (Hindani no Taki) Ochi-yama Observation Deck He selected spots that caught his eye in photos. He likes hiking, so Mount Ochi would appeal to him. For meals, he wants something affordable but authentic Japanese. Umi no Sachi Shokudou Echizen Echizen is a great choice for reasonably priced seafood. Many visitors want sashimi and sushi when they come to Japan, and seasonal flavors are worth trying. He also loves hot springs. He paused at a beautiful photo with an ocean view. Echizen Onsen Open-Air Bath “Sea of Japan” On a backpacking budget now, he can’t splurge, but if he had more money he would try diving. A rental car is essential to tour Echizen Town; he also admires the idea of touring by motorcycle. All of these are experiences available in Echizen Town. It’s rare to find so many things to enjoy in one town. Checking places to go on Google Maps He finds travel spots using Google Maps. He opens Google Maps and chooses places from pins with photos. He uses actual reviews and price ranges to decide. He rarely opens tourist pamphlets. Echizen Town’s brochure is clear and photo-rich and useful, but he relies on Google Maps and reads reviews carefully. He didn’t expect it would be so convenient to use while traveling. He wants to enjoy varied landscapes A cyclist from France is traveling Japan by bike from Hokkaido to Kyushu, enjoying different natural scenes. He said the landscapes with mountains and fields remind him of France, and he likes that Japan has both mountains and sea. Echizen Pottery Village’s Enan Kiln He’s interested in traditional Japanese crafts, so the pottery village appealed to him. He prefers quiet countryside spots to crowded places. He wants to visit shrines and temples and enjoy hiking. He also said buying vegetables at a local farmers’ market is fun. Basically, he prefers places with few tourists Many foreigners prefer places with almost no tourists to busy cities like Tokyo or Kyoto. A French chef came to Japan wanting to join Takefu Knife Village. He came to Japan seeking nature and quiet places rather than crowded tourist spots. He said he is more interested in a worn, ordinary shrine that feels like real life than a picturesque shrine for photos. It makes him feel a living culture. He recommended spots like Kotohirayama-gu, which are uncrowded and worth seeing. He was intrigued by Yukyuu Roman no Mori (Eternal Romance Forest) The waterwheel there caught his eye, and he liked the thatched-roof lodging. Traditional crafts are famously popular when people think of Japan. He was keen to try pottery workshops. He also loves nature. He thought walking from town to the shoreline would be enjoyable—people seem to love walking. He most wanted to try Echizen crab. He hoped to return during the crab season to taste this luxury. They want to experience real Japan We also spoke with young travelers spending long periods in Japan. A girl from the Netherlands Nashikodaira Senmaida Daffodil Garden She was interested in the daffodil fields. She liked flower landscapes and wanted to see waterfalls and other rich natural scenery. She was very interested in pottery workshops and hot springs. A young man from Germany said he wanted to experience seasonal events. Echizen Town has many traditional festivals, so any season should offer something to enjoy. Both said they want to experience for themselves whether Japanese life, culture, and daily routines they’ve heard about are truly real. Nashikodaira Senmaida Daffodil Garden Location: Nashikodaira, Echizen Town, Nyu District, Fukui Prefecture Echizen Town is easy to recommend to foreigners Talking with five foreigners made clear that Echizen Town is a highly recommendable place. Many common points emerged. They want to enjoy rich nature They are interested in traditional crafts They prefer places with few tourists Everyone agreed they prefer authentic daily life and walking through mountain-framed Japanese scenery over major tourist sites. Echizen Town offers mountains and sea and many places where visitors can stroll and enjoy nature at a relaxed pace. There are many easy-to-recommend spots, for hiking and for coastal walks, which surprised us as we explained them. The most popular spot is Echizen Pottery Village The chance to try Echizen-yaki pottery is a major draw. Experiencing traditional Japanese crafts interests almost everyone. Echizen-yaki offers many types of experiences, so visitors can choose according to their travel plans. Visiting during pottery festivals and events can also be fun. There are many other attractive spots to explore. Next time, we will actually visit the Echizen Town spots that caught the interest of foreign visitors.

So, Russell gradually 😱 increased his altitude while removing some Fallen trees without stepping marks, and as expected from the end of the observation deck at an elevation of 2,600m, Russell was 💪 buried up to his waist in the winddrift, especially the steep climb just below the 😵 💫 trigeminal peak There was no wind today and the conditions were relatively favorable There are 🥾 ❗, but Yatsugatake is a windy and cold mountain area. 🌀❄️ 🥺 #Minamimaki Village #Nobeyama #Yatsugatake #Snow Mountain #Russell
