This is one of the dark groove waterfalls near Yoro Valley in Chiba Prefecture, which I visited last fall. It was before winter and there wasn't much greenery, so I'd like to shoot again in the summer next time. The Hot spring on the premises was the best.

This is one photo taken at Ashikaga Flower Park. In the evening, when the sun was about to set a little, I took a picture of the white wisteria flower in front of the pond as the theme, and I felt that the balance between the red and white colors of the Japanese maple tree on the left was beautiful. There were so many people that it was very difficult to shoot with as few people as possible.

Is it a heron couple? That's what I thought. I felt that the pure white wings of the heron on the deep green were very clear and beautiful, so I stood here and took a picture. I don't usually take pictures of birds, but when I see a heron, I just snap the shutter.

Not only the Sunrise and the Torii (shrine gate) gate, but also the bubbling waves are beautiful.

It is a cherry blossom that I saw in Nemuro, which is said to be the latest blooming declaration in Japan. It was still a little chilly in Hokkaido, but there were people here and there who came to see it, and I was able to enjoy the second flowering.

Near the Lake Nukabira, the Tauszvets River Bridge, which can only be seen when the Water is low. The magnificent scenery of the Nature spread over the bridges where the Japanese National Railways once ran was and fascinating.

This photo was taken from Haguroyama Shrine in Utsunomiya City, Tochigi Prefecture, when I went to see the first sunrise of this year. I waited from midnight to see the first sunrise for the first time, and the first sunrise I finally saw was so beautiful that it was worth the wait. I realized that this is a traditional Japan tradition.

🍵 Yamashigi kama-iri tea 🍵 The delicious season for new tea 🍵 Kama-iri tea grown at Yamashigi Forest is ready! Yamashigi Forest is an old farmhouse set in woodland over 600 meters above sea level This farmhouse, more than 140 years old, prospered as a key transit point in the days before cars. Travelers and freight once moved along exposed ridgelines with good views rather than the low river valleys. We picked the tender new shoots that grew up strong at Yamashigi Forest and made them the traditional way to create this “Yamashigi kama-iri tea” 🍵 It is made only from the first flush. During Golden Week every tea-growing household turns its attention to picking the leaves. The few tea mills in the village run full time from morning to night. Yamashigi kama-iri tea was produced amid that bustle. The kama-iri tea arrives at your home as a “boxed” product that has never left Morotsuka once it was packed. (In reality it arrives in a bag.) Kama-iri tea is a method the people of Morotsuka have kept alive for generations. It was brought long ago from China and now survives in pockets across Kyushu. Apparently it makes up only about 0.02% of the tea distributed nationwide. The tea offers a gentle sweetness and a slightly toasty aroma. After the water boils, wait a moment before pouring, drink quickly, and from around the third cup the leaves open fully and the “kama-ka” aroma drifts out.
