Mt. Ontake (Ondake) Mt. Ontake stands in Kiyokawamura, Bungoono City, Oita Prefecture, Kyushu. Mt. Ontake rises to 568 meters. From the summit you get a superb view that takes in the whole Bungoono area. From the top you can see Mt. Kabeyama, Mt. Aso, the Kuju mountain range, and the Ono mountain area. The summit’s rocks are chart—a sedimentary rock formed from compacted plankton on the Pacific seafloor—that were swept onto the Japanese archipelago by plate movements. Passing through the torii and climbing a gentle stone stairway for about 10 minutes brings you to Mitake Shrine, said to have been founded in 1449, and the birthplace of Mitake Kagura. The rocky hill behind the shrine is called Sennodake and is regarded as a sacred place. Hello, this is Shosenkyo Crystal Sound. Although it’s past mid-September, the hot days continue. How are you doing? At Shosenkyo, you can still feel the heat, but a refreshing autumn breeze is beginning to arrive, and it lifts the spirits. The iconic Kakuen Peak of Shosenkyo stands out brilliantly against the blue sky. You might know lapis lazuli and sapphire as September birthstones… But actually, kunzite is also a September birthstone! Its gentle, pale pink hue soothes you just by looking at it. The gemstone’s meanings are “love, peace, motherhood,” a compassionate stone that shelters and protects with inner strength. Many other natural stones stand in neat rows as well. Please take your time strolling and enjoy touching the stones. All our staff sincerely look forward to welcoming you.

Nouvelle Plum Grove Suwa (Sweets House Nouvel) On this day, Shokushinbo Kasai visited the Nouvelle Plum Grove Suwa store (Sweets House Nouvel). It's such a famous store that "there is no one who doesn't know it in the Suwa City area"! The exterior is stylish and reminiscent of a candy house as the name suggests. Among the Nouvelles, the mainstay "Kurumi Yamabiko" is a Gastronomical delicacies that Kasai also loves. A special walnut caramel that is slowly simmered using Fresh milk from Shinshu Yatsugatake mountain foothills is wrapped in a crispy cookie. The cookies around it are not sweet, and the walnut caramel inside is moderately sweet, and the balance with the wrapped cookies is excellent!! This is really unstoppable deliciousness. Except for my eldest son and second daughter, who are allergic to nuts, the entire family, including my parents, is a big fan www This hit product of Plum Grove is said to be a Traditional Japanese straw raincoat parent by the current president! Available for the most delicious walnuts and mabiko! It was released in 1985 and is now in its 39th year!! The person who responded on this day was Mr. Yudazaka, the chief of the Administration Department. According to the story, Plum Grove seems to have a strong desire to "use Local ingredients and materials". And did you know that there are store-only sweets that can only be found in each store? That's it here ↓ ・ Suwa store → cream puff ・Okaya Main Store → Waffles ・ Shimo Suwa store → Oyster ice / pie (common to all stores custard pie + lower Suwa limited original flavor) ・ Chino store → soft serve ice cream Also available at the Okaya store (Yamabiko Soft is limited to Chino) ・ Cheesecake seems to be a store-only sweet that can only be found in each store, so please come and visit us! Following in the footsteps of "Kurumi Yamabiko" is "Suwa no Tsuki". Here, the walnut caramel inside is the same as walnuts and mabiko, but even if you mix white bean paste here and eat walnuts and mabiko, it is Popular with elderly people who have difficulty swallowing! It seems that the fact that by mixing white bean paste, it is easier to cut and clear the throat than walnuts and mabiko, which is a proof of its popularity! It's a great ingenuity, isn't it? It was a story that showed a glimpse of evidence of its popularity among all. In the top three is Suwakurumi Caramel!! Suwa→Karin, Shimo Suwa→Manji Stone Buddha, Okaya → Silkworm, Chino → Jomon Venus, started with four, but Haramura, Fujimi was eager to manufacture them, and Haramura→ celery and Fujimi →Tomatoes were born, and the characters of Town/Village six neighboring cities were all available. The red ruby of the Fujimi Highlands actually has a secret story of its birth. In fact, at the Tokyo Olympics, a Tomatoes made by students of the horticulture department of Fuji Midaka School was decided to pass the judging, but as you know, the Held in was delayed by one year, right?! Then, when the president learned of the Tomatoes of a student who had nowhere to go, he said, "Let's use it as a material for Highlands rubies!! One word. It's numbing, isn't it? It is still being traded today. This kind of thinking about the president's "things of the earth" has created a blockbuster product!! That's what I think. Lastly, Mr. Yudazaka's recommendation, which we talked to on this day, is "Kokko Sable First Thing in the Morning"! The egg is a simple sable using fresh eggs raised by the people of Yatsugatake Central Agricultural Practical College in Haramura, and although it is soft, it is a sable that retains the firm Butter feeling of the sable. For the gluttonous Kasai, the best walnuts and mabiko are recommended!! I learned about it for the first time, but it sells the original form after manufacturing and before cutting. It comes in a wooden box, comes with a special knife, etc. A dream-like product 🌟 I think that if no one saw it, it would be stuck as it is www Here, it seems that several films come out a year!! I wonder if I'll buy it as a birthday present ~ 🎶 It's an unbearable Gastronomical delicacies for walnuts and mabiko lovers! Nouvelle Plum Grove's products are very appreciated as "Souvenirs". Some sweets are made with motifs from the Suwa region and some use things from the Suwa region. If my family were to take Souvenirs, Nouvelle Plum Grove Hall would be the only choice w Speaking of Souvenirs of sweets that are appreciated in the Suwa region, it is "Nouvelle Plum Grove Hall". If you come to the Suwa area or find it at a dealership, please purchase it and Gari it!! ◎ Nouvel Plum Grove Suwa store (Sweets House Nouvel) 📍 1-2556-7 Jominami, Suwa City, Nagano Prefecture ☎0266-54-7971 Business hours & Regular holiday : 10:00~19:00 Closed only on New Year's Day
