A row of cherry trees at dusk caught my eye, and I stopped at a particularly dark patch among them.
Looking more closely, countless pigeons perched on a black tree of twisted branches, with no flowers or leaves.
At first glance, it was a little bit like a horror scene.
Beneath my feet, fresh green shoots; above, a canopy of pink cherry blossoms; in the distance, the Skytree gleaming in the sunset—and so many pigeons.
Although the composition should have felt lively, the image took on an eerie quality, producing a strangely contrasting shot.

The tallest self-supporting broadcasting tower in the world, Tokyo Sky Tree, and Japan’s symbol of spring, the cherry blossoms. This photograph captures a moment where cutting-edge technology and nature cherished since ancient times show perfect harmony.

I live in Sumida Ward, and I usually go back and forth between Sumida Ward and Koto Ward by Car. This bridge is just Located in on its borders. I have taken many photos of the Sky Tree in the past, but this was the first time I had encountered such a fantastic sunset. When I looked up at the sky that evening, the whole area was dyed orange, and the Sky Tree seemed to be enveloped in soft light. At that moment, my heart was racing, and I involuntarily stopped the car and released the shutter. It was a happy moment when I was able to record a chance encounter.

The storm passes, and the Sumida River in the spring.
The late-blooming cherry blossoms, which withstood the wind and rain, bloomed and shone more and more.
The sun is shining and the cherry blossoms are refreshing. I let my heart play with nostalgia and tried to pretend to be a Taisho romance. If you open a Japanese umbrella on the awning, it is as if the flag of the sun floats in the sky.
On the other side of the river, there are rows of pink cherry blossom trees, and beyond that is the Sky Tree, which pierces the clear sky. The sailors seemed to be enjoying the unique scenery of Tokyo, where tradition and elegance are mixed.
The spring breeze shook the cherry blossoms and gently caressed her hair and cheeks.

I photographed the Tokyo Sky Tree and Tokyo Mizumachi from the Pillow Bridge to the Kitajuma River.
There are many people who take pictures of the Genmori Bridge because the sidewalk is wider and closer to the Sky Tree, but in fact, the Pillow Bridge is easier to get into the angle of view of the entire Sky Tree and it is easier to take a picture with reflection.
If you go to Pillow Bridge, you can enjoy this kind of scenery at any time.

I took a night view of Tokyo from the Skytree East Tower in the direction of Mt. Fuji.
Tokyo is the world's largest megacity, surpassing New York, which was the world's number one until 1955, and has continued to hold the world's number one position ever since. Mt. Fuji can be seen slightly to the right of the center of the photo, and Tokyo Tower can be seen slightly to the left.
