Shinano Road in the rain Bushu Highway Furuya Valleys "Otome Falls" I went there looking for a superb view in the rainy season ☂️! I have visited the Yachiho Highlands and Shirakoma Pond in Sakuho Town many times The atmosphere on a rainy day was good, so I visited to enjoy the Valleys and Fresh greenery. The stream of the waterfall and the fresh greenery are beautiful, and the rain creates a special feeling of the secluded beauty of the Valleys. Recommended!

This time of year marks the blooming season for sankayō (skeleton flower, *Diphylleia grayi*), whose white petals turn translucent after rain. I heard someone had spotted the hard-to-find sankayō, so I immediately went to a nearby woodland. It had just stopped raining, and in high spirits I found the plants — there were a few in the area. Unfortunately, perhaps because there hadn't been enough rain or because they were still in bud, their petals had not become translucent. Rain is forecast for next week as well, so I'll try again then.

Commemorating the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the city The 41st Urayasu City fireworks festival 🎆 A fiery strong fireworks. Urayasu's fireworks everyone was shouting "Kagiya!" and Tamaya and Kagiya were worried and looked it up. It seems to be the name of a fireworks master who was active in the Edo period ... Kagiya seems to be a popular fireworks master who has grown to become a purveyor of the Edo shogunate! I learned about "Tamaya" and "Kagiya" for the first time from the Edo period!

Recommended nearby sightseeing spots [Tokachi Hills] A garden in Makubetsu Town themed around agriculture and food. The popular Umbrella Sky event runs through June 30! Peonies and water lilies were in full, beautiful bloom in the garden. I also saw paulownia blossoms, which are sensitive to cold and rare to see blooming in Hokkaido. July 1–9 is Rose Week. This garden shows a different face each season, making you want to visit again and again. About a 20-minute drive from Tokachigawa Onsen
