\ Go with foreigners! Echizen Town Crab & History and Culture Monitor Tour/ I participated in a monitor tour Held in for foreigners in Echizen Town on March 15th. This monitor tour was planned to let people from overseas know about Echizen Town. Echizen Town has many historical places such as Echizen Crab and Echizen Pottery. I would like many foreigners to visit as a place where they can get to know Japan deeply. The monitor tour was attended by 10 foreigners from the prefecture. We will go sightseeing in Echizen Town for one day, and actually experience and listen to stories. All the foreigners who participated live in Fukui and speak Japanese well. There were people who could understand Japanese without an interpreter. So, all the explanations are in Japanese. There were some technical words, but everyone listened attentively. The tour starts from Echizen Coast. Unfortunately, I was not able to see the Echizen Crab auction that I had planned, but the "Echizen Morning Market Ka Thanksgiving Festival" is being held in. The Echizen Morning Market is an Events Held in at the Roadside Station Echizen where you can enjoy seafood and snow crab, mainly at fresh fish shops. Next, Visiting the site of the Echizen Crab Museum across the street. You can see the tools and history necessary for fishing in the paintings, the actual Echizen crabs and the creatures that live on the Echizen Coast. There is not much explanation in English, but since you can see the real thing, anyone can easily enjoy it. You can learn about the goodness and ecology of Echizen Crab, so you can learn a lot. Snow crab dish for lunch! I want many people to enjoy the unique taste of Echizen Town. After lunch, go to Tsurugi Shrine. Tsurugi Shrine is a shrine related to the Oda Nobunaga clan. I would recommend this place to foreigners who like Warlords. It may have been quite difficult to talk about Japanese gods appearing in shrines. However, there is no doubt that it is a story that is difficult to hear. We Visiting the site of a clay factory that makes clay, which is indispensable for Echizen pottery, and listened in detail to the story of the soil of Echizen pottery. The soil used for Echizen pottery is from Echizen. Echizen pottery is made from the soil stage. In the past, soil was harvested even in rice fields, but after a long time, it is said that it is mainly taken from the mountains. The soil is a blend of three types. There are fine, coarse, and in-between, and it seems that they use different things depending on the work, but it was a vacation and there were few machines moving, so it was difficult to and it. However, it was a very valuable experience to be able to walk around the factory. The story of how the factory is devising ways to lead to the SDGs so that there is as little waste as possible is easy for foreigners to get used to. Next, we went to the Ancient Kiln Museums. The Ancient Kiln Museum is Located in Echizen Pottery Village. Thereare I have been to the pottery Village many times, but this was the first time I entered. You will be guided inside with commentary. The Museums has two floors. On the first floor, there are many pottery items that show the history of Echizen pottery. Many Documents by Professor Kuemon Water, a leading researcher on Echizen ancient kilns, are also on display. The first pottery was Sueware, which came from the Korean Peninsula. It reminded me of a Japan history class. The oldest Echizen pottery is said to be around 900 years old. Echizen pottery is one of the six ancient kilns. It is said that the six ancient kilns refer to pottery that has continued from the Heian period to the present day. Other Famous dishes include Bizen ware and Tamba ware. It is said that some foreigners are touring the six ancient kilns. I enjoyed listening to explanations such as "What was the jar used for?" with quizzes. Pottery for preserving Sake and grain seeds is obvious to Japan people, but foreigners seem to have a different perspective and it. The transition of Echizen pottery is very interesting for us to see. By all means, when you visit, please take your time and feel the changes of your own and other generations. Finally, we went to the Echizen Pottery Hall. After learning about the soil and history, seeing the latest Echizen pottery works became more interesting and even more interesting. Everyone enjoyed shopping for Echizen pottery. There was also an ochoko that took advantage of the tenacity of Echizen pottery. By making it thinner, it is possible to carry Sake to the tip of the tongue, where it is easy to feel the taste of Sake. There was also a Gacha Gacha where you can enjoy Echizen Pottery very fun and at a great price. Gacha Gacha is also booming among foreigners. In addition to winning ochoko and capsule-sized Echizen pottery, there is also the possibility that the jackpot is a tea bowl. I'm happy to win any of them. The Swiss kid who was taking on the challenge right away got a chopstick rest and a chopstick. A one-day tour of Echizen Town. Everyone was having a lot of fun. I was very happy that it was also a time when I could get to know Japan more deeply. I hope that more foreigners will visit and enjoy Echizen Town in the future.

\ Echizen Town loving writer Broadcasting the charm! / ●I want to eat deliciously this winter! Enjoy Echizen Crab in Echizen Town Echizen Crab was lifted in November. Echizen Crab is one of the specialties of Fukui Prefecture. It is also featured in brochures for tourists. Fishing starts on November 6 and is in season until mid-March. It's for a limited time, so I want people I know outside the prefecture and outside of Japan to taste it. This time, we will introduce Echizen Crab Spots that you can enjoy even on a day trip Drive. There is also advice for foreign visitors when they come. How would you answer if someone asked, "What is Echizen Crab?" Echizen Crab calls snow crab Landings in Fukui Prefecture. In the San'in region, pine needles are called ni, and in Noto and Kaga, they are called kanoga. There are three points to keep in mind when introducing Echizen Crab 1. Echizen Crab is a male snow crab. Females are called seikogani 2. A yellow tag with the name of the fishing port is attached as proof of Landings in Fukui Prefecture 3. Echizen Crab is the No.1 in Japan in terms of fishing and quality. It is also presented to the Imperial Family The facility where you can learn about crabs is the Echizen Crab Museum. It is Located in Roadside Station Echizen. This time, I went to hang out with my Chinese friends. When I asked, "Do you want to join?" he said, "I definitely want to join!" I didn't expect people to be so interested. At the Echizen Crab Museum, you can compare Echizen Crab and various types of crabs. There are also aquariums where real crabs are bred. It is highly recommended because it is easier to convey because it can be explained by actually seeing it with the eyes. You can actually see the tools used for crab fishing, and there are plenty of Documents, so you can learn a lot. There is also a coloring book and game corner for children, so it is fun to go with the family. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ◎Echizen Crab Museum Location: 〒916-0422 71-324-1 Echizen Town, Nyū District, Fukui Prefecture TEL:0778-37-2626 HP:https://www.echizenkk.jp/kanimuseum... Business hours: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (last admission: 4:30 p.m.) Regular holiday: Every Tuesday *Open all year during summer Vacation, closed on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of November ~ March ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Echizen Crab can be bought at various places in the prefecture. This time, I headed to "Echizen Uoichi" across the street from the Roadside Station Echizen. There was a row of freshly boiled Echizen crab. Echizen Crab, Seikogani, Red Snow Crab, etc. This is my first time buying Echizen Crab in Echizen Town. I was surprised that it was more reasonable than I expected. Echizen Crab come in a variety of sizes and prices. If you tell them your budget, the store will choose the recommended one, so let's talk about it. In Echizen Town, you can also find other shops selling Echizen Crab. Drive along the Coast to visit. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ◎ Souvenirs Location: 〒916-0422 71-324-1 Echizen Town, Nyū District, Fukui Prefecture TEL:0778-37-2500 HP:https://kane1-suisan.com/oshokuji-uoichi#shop_info... Business hours: 9 a.m. ~ 5 p.m. Regular holiday: Every Tuesday *Subject to change depending on the season ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ●Do foreigners like crabs? Speaking of Fukui, Echizen Crab, and speaking of Echizen Town, delicious seafood. I would like foreign customers to eat it as well. However, depending on the country or region, there is no custom of eating seafood, or it is not edible. Squid is not good for some people, so be sure to check well in advance. Of course, there are foreigners who come to Fukui to see Echizen Crab. Here are the favorites of the people I've met by country and region. Please refer to it. ・United States Many people on the Saikai coast of the United States had the opportunity to eat lobster, so there was not much resistance. Sushi is a widespread part of Japan culture, so many people like raw fish. ・China Even in China, it is a small yellowtail, but they eat crab, so Echizen Crab was happy to eat it. Crab miso and uchiko are also my favorite foods. ・Asia Tastes change depending on which region of Asia you are in. The image is that shrimp are eaten, but raw fish depends on the person. Bangladeshi children were not in the habit of eating seafood, and sashimi and fish dishes in general were not favorite. ・Australia Australia is a multi-ethnic country, and they are familiar with various food cultures on a regular basis. There are many people who like Japan sushi. Echizen Crab was also happy to eat. ・Europe There are many countries in Europe that do not have the habit of eating fish, so be sure to check carefully. Inland Australians didn't even like the smell of soup stock. Danes, who have a habit of eating salmon, also have sashimi depending on the person. If you are used to it on a regular basis, you will be desensitized to the smell of fish and the taste of dashi, so be careful when you go to the fish market. ・Israel Judaism forbids eating seafood without scales. Shrimp and crabs fall under this category, so check with Jewish people in advance. Some sects of Islam do not eat seafood such as shrimp and crabs in the same way. The food varies greatly depending on the religion, so be sure to check carefully. Let's enjoy the delicious Echizen Crab with your family and friends this winter. ◆~◇~◆~◇~◆~◇~◆~◇~◆~◇~◆~◇~◆~◇~◆~◇~◆ This Account is the official Account of the Echizen Tourism Federation (DMO ECHIZEN). \ 2 special Soba noodles restaurants in Echizen Town, Fukui Prefecture / When you come to Fukui Prefecture, the dish you want to eat is Soba noodles. In February 2021, the online media "Netorabo" conducted a "prefecture ranking where Soba (buckwheat noodles) is delicious", and Fukui Prefecture was by far the first place. This time, we would like to introduce two Soba noodles restaurants in Echizen Town where you can eat delicious Soba noodles. ◎Enjoy Echizen pottery, gentle Soba noodles|Juwari Soba Daikonsha Soba noodles shop in Echizen Pottery Village "Juwari Soba Daikonsha". You can taste 100% Soba noodles, which are made from 100% genSoba from Fukui, and are made with stone-ground homemade flour. Utsuwa is, of course, "Echizen pottery". The Soba noodles served in a Echizen Pottery bowl in a tasteful Japan house makes you feel very elegant. One of the popular Soba noodles at Daikonsha is "Kurumi Soba noodles" Soba noodles that do not use any animal products in the soup stock and can be enjoyed even by vegans. Since it was cold, I received a warm "warm walnut". The fluffy walnut-flavored soup goes well with Soba noodles. I thought it would be sweeter, but it was easy to eat. "Pure chicken Soba noodles" is a combination of delicious pure chicken and firm broth and is very delicious. For dessert, I also received the restaurant's mother's recommended "Black Honey Soba Dango" and "Soba Scraping Zenzai". It is much softer and chewier than the Soba noodles I know. And it was as satisfying as a child's fist. But since it is Soba noodles, you can eat it easily. It is a Soba noodles restaurant that is very gentle on the body and mind. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ★ Juwari Soba Daikonsha Business hours: (Weekdays) 11:00-15:00 (Weekends and holidays) 11:00-17:00 Regular holiday: Monday (the next day if it is a holiday), temporary closure Location: 〒916-0273 120-3-20 Osohara, Echizen Town, Nyū District, Fukui Prefecture TEL: (0778)32-3735 URL:https://www.soba-daikonya.com// ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ◎ Founded, Showa 29 (Showa 29), Soba noodles with full volume|Menbo Shingetsutei Founded in 1954 (Showa 29), the smiling staff welcomes you cheerfully. "Noodles" using Local spring water and buckwheat noodles "Dashi" using katsuto from Kochi Prefecture and Rishiri kelp from Hokkaido "Ingredients" that are particular about condiments Because it is a restaurant that has been around for a long time, you can enjoy delicious Soba noodles that you are particular about. I received a limited quantity of "Jumbo shrimp ten grated daikon soba" Because it is called jumbo, it is too big to fit in a bowl of Soba noodles. The batter is crispy and this alone is very satisfying. Soba noodles are also firm and aroma. Both zaru Soba (buckwheat noodles) and warm Soba noodles are really delicious. "Shrimp Tempura Egg Toji Soba (Buckwheat Noodles)" is also full of volume. The shrimp heaven is also large and there are plenty of eggs. In addition, the Soba (buckwheat noodles) menu is very substantial. All of them seem and be satisfying. There are many small size Soba noodles for children and side menus, so it is a restaurant that you want to come to with your family and friends. I also tried the staff's recommended "cold guy with sesame seeds". It is as soft as regular tofu and has a lot of sesame seeds in it, which is very flavorful. The children were flattened in no time. It is a homely Soba noodles restaurant where cheerful staff welcomes you. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ★ Menbo Shingetsutei Business hours: (Weekdays) / [Lunch] 11:00~14:30 (LO14:00) [Evening] 17:00~21:30 (LO21:00) (Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays)/11:00~21:30(LO21:00) Regular holiday: Monday *Holidays will be transferred to the next day. But more than that, I and something that makes the Soba noodles delicious. The desire to entertain the guests who come to visit. The desire to convey the charm and taste of Fukui and Echizen Town. The "feelings" of the people in the restaurant were conveyed through the Soba noodles.
