Cypripedium japonicum(Kumagaiso) 💐 in Saruhashi Town The Best time to visit 🎶 the Cypripedium japonicum(Kumagaiso) in the colony of private houses on the south side of Otsuki The owner of the land has been taking care of it for 40 years, and there were 50 plants, but now there are 😲 3,000 plants on the site It is an ideal growing environment for the bear, and it is 🎶 growing large and fast The mysterious shape of the Cypripedium japonicum(Kumagaiso) is attractive. The appearance of rain drops dripping is also mysterious, When it's sunny, it's 💮 even better to understand the unique color well You can freely view it courtesy of the owner. (There is also a ❗️ space where you can park your car) When visiting, please talk to the owner's house on top of the colony before visiting 🙌 For details, please see 🔍 the Home page of the Otsuki Tourism Association

Aibetsu Town , Hokkaido
Oct. 26, 2023
On October 22, a briefing session for Hokkaido stone townspeople was held at a brewery in Aibetsu Town, and more than 100 visitors visited. Hokkaido stone, a natural crystal of the organic compound benzoperylene, is a rare mineral that fluoresces beautifully when irradiated with ultraviolet rays, and was registered with the International Mineralogical Union in January this year. At this briefing session, which was open to the townspeople for the first time, a member of the research group that discovered Hokkaido stone talked about its rarity and characteristics, and visitors actually confirmed the fluorescence of Hokkaido stone while shining ultraviolet light. Hokkaido stones discovered in Aibetsu Town and Shikaoi Town are currently open to the public at Aibetsu Town Hall. It will be a very valuable exhibition, so please take this opportunity to take a look. ■Exhibition location: Aibetsu Town Hall 1F ■Exhibition Hours: 8:30 a.m. ~ 5:15 p.m. (weekdays only)
