This looks like a really cool place to visit in Yamanashi if you're heading over to Mt. Fuji or the five lakes. Apparently this place (Saiko Iyashi no Sato Nenba) was destroyed by a landslide caused by a typhoon in the 60s but was rebuilt some 40 years later. Looks like there's a bunch of stuff to do as well: museums, galleries, craft making experiences, etc. I'm curious as to whether or not the thatched roofs are constructed the same way as the Gassho-zukuri roofs of Shirakawa-go and Gokayama, as they look very similar. I bet it'd look really nice in the winter when it snows and there's also cherry blossoms in the area so that'd be nice for visiting in the spring. Looks fun!

Saimyoji Shiseki Park (Saimyoji Historic Site Park): This looks like an awesome place to visit! I love all the different types of cherry blossoms in such a small area. There's so many different colors and shades it looks really fantastical. I wonder if there are any koi in the pond, it'd really complete the look of the area I think. The park looks pretty big as well, judging from the map on their website, it's also really close to Mt. Fuji as well so it's probably a nice place to drop by if you're in that area. It looks like there's also a pretty long stretch of road where you can view the cherry blossoms by car as well if you don't feel like hiking which is nice. Going to have to consider checking this place out!

♡ Yamanashi ♡ I invited my friends to climb the first Mt. Shichimyeon, "Climb Mt ?. Shichimyeon to pay tribute to your ancestors, your dormant talent will bloom, you will be helped when you are in trouble, and good things will happen." I'm non-religious, but I climbed ?✨ it regardless. ♡ I think it was the first resting point, when the monk and his friend talked with each other. At that time, my daughter immediately started climbing by herself, and the monk was also a runner, so I found her immediately. He took my daughter's luggage and ran with me, and at the end, he told me about the ice cream reward and told me various good stories ? about Mt. Shichimen and the mountain opposite, when I resumed with my daughter at the ? finish line. ♡ ♡ When I started climbing the mountain, I was only thinking about work, my future, and myself, but when I went down, all I could ? think about was wishing for everyone's happiness and gratitude to my ancestors. ♡ I often go to mountain climbing with my friends, but I like it because I have to adjust to everyone's pace, and if I climb alone, I may be able to return a few hours early, but I like it because it encourages me, carries my luggage, waits, and helps each other to reach the goal. ♡ There are times when you suddenly fall and cause trouble for others. That's why I help people even when they are having a hard time or when they think it's troublesome. I realized again that this is how work and relationships go well. ♡ The bamboo shoots in the lunch box were freshly picked by the student's mother. I boiled it immediately and it was delicious for ❤️ my lunch box, thank you very much ?. ♡ Happiness does not ? come to selfish people I often take my children with me because I want them to naturally notice such things, and when their minds and hearts are confused, they want them to climb mountains to refresh themselves. Time ✨ to face yourself quietly ♡ Thank you for ? a wonderful time ♡ ♡ ♡

What a cool photo. It has such a mysterious atmosphere to it. I really love this about weeping cherries. They always look especially beautiful at night too I've noticed. I like the wagasa as well, it really completes the look. I'm not sure if it's supposed to look mysterious or not but it definitely gives off that kind of vibe. It's like something you would have seen in Demon Slayer. Maybe this is where they got the inspiration for some things? The fog caused by the lighting is really awesome as well. Not surprised that it's at the base of Mt. Fuji either, there are so many amazing sights around the mountain and I guess this is just another one to keep in mind when visiting the area.

Wow, that's such an amazing view. I've seen so many different photos of this type of cloud around Mt. Fuji but I've never gotten the chance to see it in person. I really like the orange coloring from the sun behind the mountain, just incredible. I know that there's the Fuji World Heritage Center in Fujinomiya and there's also some waterfalls there so it'd be a cool place to visit when I decide to finally climb Mt. Fuji. Maybe next year for hatsuhinode? I'd like to at least, but I'll have to convince my girlfriend to go hiking in the cold weather so we'll see ? If not I'll get around to it another time, I'm still kind of young so I've got time before my knees aren't up to the task lol

From Kurumayama to Washigamine, the Kirigamine Plateau continues with gentle undulations. Seasonal alpine plants such as Astragalus azalea, Nikko kisuge, and Matsumushiso dye the green meadow in various colors. Mt. Fuji, the Alps, the Yatsugatake mountain range, and other famous peaks that Japan are proud of are also overlooked. Kirigamine Plateau is also known as the birthplace of Japan gliders because of its abundant updrafts in the area, making it suitable for glider flight. Cited from Kirigamine Kogen tourism website.
