I went to Oshino Village in Yamanashi Prefecture for a photo shoot one early morning in February. The sky was clear, and I was able to see the magnificent Mount Fuji. The temperature was below freezing; there was no snow, but a white frost covered the ground. Corn cobs were hung out to dry and gleamed in the morning sun, so I took a shot with Mount Fuji in the background. Japan’s number one Mount Fuji shone brilliantly.

March 1 (Sunday) is the opening day for yamame and small-fry fishing on the Doshi River. This year has seen unusually low rainfall not seen for decades. Although the clear waters of the Doshi River have remained low, they have started to recover after yesterday's rain. [Tanzanite] Named by Tiffany, this beautiful blue-violet gem is prized for its mysterious pleochroism, said to sharpen the mind and consciousness and guide one toward success. [Lapis Lazuli] Considered one of the oldest power stones in the world, it brings luck and success. It was also used as a pigment in paintings and is known as Vermeer blue. [Turquoise] Known for its vivid turquoise blue that recalls sky and sea, it delights with color variations and natural patterns that differ by source. Introducing the autumn vistas of Shosenkyo Gorge and Kakuen Peak Yesterday at Kakuen Peak, the contrast between the blue sky and the rocky spires was stunning, showcasing a scene that truly represents autumn at Shosenkyo Gorge. In the lower right, the foliage at the base of Kakuen Peak blazed in vivid colors, wrapping the entire valley in seasonal hues.
