Hello! Welcome to Jewelry Town! Right now, Shosenkyo Gorge is vibrant with fresh greenery, and the contrast between the blue sky and white clouds is incredibly beautiful this season. You can enjoy the refreshing breeze blowing through the mountains and the lush green scenery that spreads out before you. On the Shosenkyo ropeway, you can feel the wind while savoring the expanse of fresh greenery, and take in the views of Mt. Kinpu, the birthplace of crystals, and Arakawa Dam. At the summit, which exceeds 1,000 meters in elevation, you can see Mount Fuji on clear days, and a 30-minute walk will take you to the breathtaking Yasaburodake, a treasure trove of power spots. Our shop, located right next to the ropeway, has just received new rainbow-colored crystal balls. Please stop by to see the beautiful rainbows during your stroll! As it continues to be hot, don't forget to take measures against the heat. Enjoy nature!

At the foot of Mount Fuji lies Lake Motosu. 🗻 Located in Yamanashi Prefecture at an elevation of about 900 meters, Lake Motosu is a rare freshwater diving spot in Japan. The water in the lake is highly transparent, revealing a serene blue world. 💧 Underwater, you can see fantastical landscapes formed by the eruptions of Mount Fuji, volcanic ash accumulating on the lakebed, and large sunken trees. In some places, spring water flowing from Mount Fuji emerges from the lakebed. It offers a tranquility completely different from the sea. This is a special underwater world connected to the history of Japan's iconic Mount Fuji. Just a short distance from Tokyo, you can discover landscapes of Japan that you won't encounter through typical tourism. 🇯🇵 Hokulea Shonan offers small-group diving tours in lakes around Mount Fuji and the seas near Tokyo. 🌊 A tour of Lake Motosu is also scheduled for August 9-10, 2026. Be sure to experience the tranquil blue world at the foot of Mount Fuji. ✨ #Near Tokyo #Nature Experience #Lake Diving #Day Trip #Local Travel #Japanese Scenery

Hello, this is Minamoto 😊 The beautiful season of fresh greenery has finally arrived in Shosenkyo Gorge, where the buds of the trees are flourishing, making it a delightful time for a stroll 🌿 The clear waters of the river, the unique rock formations, and the blooming Mitsubatsutsuji create a stunning landscape, offering a refreshing experience of nature that is different from the vibrant autumn colors that adorn the valley ✨ During the Golden Week, especially when the young leaves are shining ✨, a popular and recommended route is to walk from the Tenjinmori Municipal Parking Lot along the path by the gorge, passing through the Stone Gate and reaching Senga Falls 🚶‍♂️ Please give it a try♪ Currently, we at Minamoto have received a variety of new products‼️ The photo shows a Lemurian Seed Crystal 💎 When you go out, please come and see it 😊 Also, during the Golden Week period from May 2nd to 6th, the shops in the Shosenkyo Falls area and along the Crystal Highway will extend their hours by 30 minutes, staying open until 5:30 PM 🕔 *Some stores may be excluded. Hello. This is Waraji, a Koshu local cuisine restaurant. The news of cherry blossoms already in full bloom arrived earlier than in many other parts of the country, and though it’s the season that makes you feel spring’s arrival, here at Shosenkyo Gorge the trees need a little more time to reach full bloom 🌸 The gorge’s towering rock faces still hold a touch of chill, yet each day brings a gentler hint of spring filling the air. On clear mornings, the crisp air carries the bush warbler’s beautiful song, soothing the heart like a natural soundtrack 🎶 Against the grand scenery, these moments of slowly approaching spring feel like a luxurious experience unique to Shosenkyo Gorge ⛰️ If you feel a bit peckish during your stroll, please drop by our shop 😊 At this chilly time of year, we recommend Yamanashi’s specialty, houtou (thick vegetable noodle stew) 🍲 A gentle bowl brimming with pumpkin, root vegetables, mushrooms, and other plentiful vegetables warms you to the core and eases the heart ✨ Enjoy the comforting taste that soaks into a body chilled by the outdoors. Waiting at our entrance to greet you is Houtou no Tanuchan, our beloved houtou raccoon character, who is eagerly looking forward to meeting visitors 🐻‍❄️ (It’s a raccoon!) Its charming figure is sure to make you want to take a photo 📸 At Shosenkyo Gorge, where spring arrives slowly, come and enjoy a time that warms both heart and body. We sincerely look forward to your visit 🌿

Hello! This is the Shosenkyo Tourist Association. Spring is starting to show itself little by little in Shosenkyo Gorge…🌸 The mitsuba azaleas that usually peak around this time are a bit slower this year. Many buds still dot the gorge, so the full bloom will likely be a little way off. Meanwhile, at Tenkorin we found a tree that bloomed a little early✨ The surroundings remain quiet, but that tree seemed to be announcing the start of spring. Shosenkyo will soon burst into color, and we’re looking forward to it. The sight of full bloom will have to wait just a bit longer🌿

Hello 😃 This is Yamanashi Wine Kingdom Main Building. March has arrived, and Shosenkyo Gorge is slowly showing signs of spring. It’s still a bit chilly, but the mountain trees are starting to take on a hint of green, and the landscape’s expression is softening 🌿 Shosenkyo Gorge was once known as a source of quartz, and the beautiful crystals mined here helped Yamanashi become known as the City of Gems ✨ Shosenkyo Gorge is also home to Kanazakura Shrine, which enshrines quartz as its sacred object, making it a particularly recommended spot for fans of stones and power stones 💎 It’s a mystical place where you can feel nature and history ⛩️ When you visit Shosenkyo Gorge, be sure to see Senga Falls. The view of the waterfall up close is full of power and so photogenic you’ll want to capture it on camera 📸 When touring Shosenkyo Gorge, please stop by Yamanashi Wine Kingdom Main Building. At this time of year, we offer wines that feel bright and springlike 🍷🌸 We sincerely look forward to your visit.

Hello, this is the Shosenkyo Gorge Tourism Association. Yesterday we enjoyed a clear blue sky. The first photo is Senga Falls. Even after mid-February it still wears ice, crashing down with a thunderous roar and an overwhelmingly powerful presence. A crisp, wintry beauty unique to the season spreads across the scene. The second photo is Kakuen Peak. Its silhouette, emblematic of Shosenkyo Gorge, looks like a sumi-e ink painting. Please enjoy the contrast of stillness and motion that stands out in the clear air. There are vistas you can meet only in winter. We sincerely look forward to your visit. #Shosenkyo Gorge #Senga Falls #Kakuen Peak #Yamanashi Tourism #Winter Scenery

Hello! This is Waraji, a Koshu local cuisine restaurant. Although February marks the arrival of spring on the calendar, Shosenkyo Gorge is wrapped in crisp, cold air and offers the clear winter scenery unique to the season❄️🌿 After a walk taking in the majestic nature formed by rocky cliffs and evergreen trees, why not rest with us for a while😊 Our recommendation is a piping-hot freshly fried tendon (tempura rice bowl)🍤 We generously use three large prawns; their crispy, fragrant batter pairs perfectly with the fluffy rice. Its impressive appearance makes it a dish you’ll want to photograph📸✨ The interior offers a calm space warmed by wood accents. You can warm up your chilled body and enjoy a leisurely time with us over tea🍵 Shosenkyo Gorge is still quite cold, so please make sure to dress warmly before you come🧣 We sincerely look forward to welcoming you😊

This time we present “A View You Haven’t Seen Yet!” ✨ Shosenkyo Gorge has a ropeway that rises to the summit, where a panoramic spectacle unfolds on clear days. What the view looks like… come and find out for yourself 😊 You’ll also find an owl sculpture somewhere and artwork made by affixing stones together 🎨 If you look closely at this artwork, you’ll see words written on each stone. It’s fun to stroll around searching for the sculptures and art 🔍 And Valentine’s Day is coming soon 🍫 Why not toast with wine with a close friend or partner once in a while 🥂 You might discover a wonderful wine that makes a perfect gift 🎁 It’s still a cold season, so please dress warmly when you visit 🧣❄️
