📍 Kutakajima Nanjo / Okinawa 🇯🇵 Kudaka Island, Nanjo / Okinawa Kutaka Island is the island 🌊 of gods located in Nanjo City, southern Nanjo Amamikiyo, who created the Ryukyu dynasty, It is a sacred island that is said to have descended from heaven and began to build a nation. When there are sacred ceremonies, etc. So much so that there are restrictions on visiting the island! Go ✨ around on a rental bike Of course, Kutaka Island has a beach, Island of the Gods! There are also many sacred spots. Let's 🚴 ♀️ go around so as not to be rude. Trees and plants are tropical and spacious 🌺 It is also a peaceful island where aunts and uncles feel free to talk to you. If there are no tourists in Okinawa, Financial independence is quite tough. Okinawa's remote islands are really small! If you don't get on a boat, you won't be able to get medical care. With grandfathers and grandmothers, May ✨ the day come when you can do it again Let's 🏠 stay home now

Looking forward to seeing the fireworks this summer, I've been to Omagari in the past and it was really amazing. I know there's tons of places in Japan where there are amazing fireworks as well since Japan has a really long history of fireworks, so hopefully it's possible to see them now that vaccinations are starting to roll out. The whole coronavirus situation has been a bummer for a lot of people and fireworks are sort of like a reminder of all the beauty that the world holds and they help bring people together. I'd love to go out and see Omagari again personally as it was easily one of the most amazing displays I've seen. It was great getting to bring a picnic blanket and everything and just sit under the stars until it started too

Gorgeous photo! I want to visit the Tottori Sand Dunes so badly. There was a photo of them going around the internet a while back with the covered in snow. It's such a strange concept to me having snow on sand. I, and probably most people as well, generally associate sand dunes and deserts with hot weather so it's really sort of fantastical. I've still never actually experienced that in person, and I lived relatively close to a beach most my life. It always got cold there but didn't snow much, or if it did I just wasn't going anywhere near it I suppose lol. The San'in Region is supposed to be full of really amazing natural scenery though so it seems like it'd be a cool place to visit during the summer or even for golden week or something.

I really love seeing these massive fireworks displays and this one is really incredible. Just comparing the height of the fireworks to the height of the builds in the city you can get an idea of just how large-scale this fireworks show is. I know the Minato Kobe Marine Fireworks Festival is in October but I'm hoping to see some fireworks this spring at least. I know summer is a little far off but there's definitely going to be fireworks then, that's for sure. I remember the one trip I went to Kobe I didn't get to see these amazing fireworks, but I was able to dry some delicious Kobe Beef burgers that were really just incredible. I would have liked to go to a steak restaurant but it didn't really fit our itinerary. It ended up working out though, as the burgers were great!

Minatokobe Marine Fireworks Festival.
One of the three great night views in Japan
It's a night view of Kobe, but in such a situation
The fireworks that are launched are night views and fireworks.
The collaboration is very beautiful.
It was canceled in 2020, but I can't wait for next year.

What a cool photo. I keep seeing pictures and stuff of Takachiho Gorge and I really want to go. I watched a video of it on here recently and it was really beautiful. Miyazaki seems like a really fun place to visit in general so it'd fun to get out there and try the boats and see all of the natural scenery. It had some really nice looking shrines that I was interested in visiting as well. It's so hard to visit all of the beautiful places scattered throughout Japan but I've got time so I'm gonna do my best lol. Earned some flight miles this year so I'm definitely heading out somewhere this summer. Maybe it'll be Miyazaki, we'll see. Although I've had my eye on Nagano lately as well so it's a toss up for now.

I keep seeing pictures of the Shiroyone Senmaida Rice Terraces and I really just need to go and see it myself. I don't know what it is about rice fields but they're some of the most beautiful scenery you can find in my opinion. I think that's another thing I really love about places like Akita, Saitama, etc. It really just makes me wish summer was here already. I want to go outside and enjoy a barbecue at some park. Spring would be great too, I'd get some plum wine and eat some barbecue under the cherry blossoms. I always love seeing the rice field art too, so if I can see some this year I'll be really happy. I think I saw some in Akita but I didn't get a chance to see any in Saitama yet, so maybe I'll try and find some out there and go out for a visit.

Awesome photo. I've heard of Soma-Nomaoi before. I really want to check it out actually and see all the horse races and stuff. I guess they do drills that were used by the military back in the day which would be really cool to watch as well. I'm a huge fan of horseback archery and archery in general so if they have that that'd be awesome as well. I didn't know there were portable shrines as well. I'd have to read up more on the festival but it definitely looks interesting. I have a friend over in Fukushima Prefecture so if I could get out there and meet them when this is happening it'd be awesome. Hopefully corona has settled down by July, but if not then I guess there's always next year. I'll have to eat some tasty festival food somewhere else I guess 😂

Just beautiful. There's so much happening in this photo when you really look at it. The paper lantern is really the cherry on the cake for me in this one. I read an article a little while ago about the funaya in Ine and thought it was really interesting. It's awesome getting to see fireworks happening there as well, it's like I've discovered a new side of the area that I didn't know about before. I really enjoy fireworks over water too, and there's plenty of great fireworks festivals in Japan that do just that. I was already looking forward to being able to see the boathouses in Ine one day but now I'm looking forward to it even more. Going to line it up with the Ine Fireworks Festival if I can. The reflection of the fireworks on the water looks really awesome as well.

In Ine-cho, Yosa-gun, Kyoto Prefecture, there are many traditional fishermen's buildings called funaya with the first floor as a dock.
I watched the annual Ine fireworks from the hangar of the boathouse.
The light of the lanterns and the sound of fireworks echoing in the hangar all reminded me of the good old Japan.
