Went to Chiba over the weekend and we were originally planning on visiting Mt. Nokogiri but decided to stay near the bay area instead since the weather was so nice. It really felt like we were in a resort area and it was a lot of fun. We managed to book a cruise of the nearby factories and it was a blast. They had snack bags for feeding the seagulls on board the ship that you could buy for ¥100 and once we started moving the seagulls started to follow and it just became a feeding frenzy. You’d throw the chips out to the seagulls as the flew side by side with the ship and they were really skilled at catching the chips as well. If it was a weak throw or the wind caught it, the seagull would dive down to catch it. Even if they missed it, another seagull behind it would swoop into the water and grab it. We bought two bags and halfway through the second bag you could tell the seagulls were getting full or tired because they weren’t as agile as they were at the start😂. We also ate at a few restaurants. The steak and fried rice and the beef ramen was from Niku no Gyuuchu 肉の牛忠 I’m not sure if it has an English name or not. And the pizza was from a place called “Salvatore Cuomo.” Both tasted pretty good, I enjoyed the Italian restaurant more I think, but the steak restaurant had a nice, relaxed atmosphere compared to the rest of Lalaport which was pretty lively. I somehow lost the pictures I took of my pasta and the salad unfortunately. We also went inside Chiba Port Tower and it had some nice views and a “lovers corner” for taking photos, etc. They also had heart-shaped locks that visitors could buy and lock to a wall to signify their love or something to that effect. Overall it was a really fun experience and not too far from Tokyo. Would definitely like to go back and visit again!

One photo at Rurikoin Temple, Kyoto, November 2020. The beautiful trees in the garden were reflected on the sutra desk, creating a fantastic world. In particular, the withered ginkgo trees and the maple trees with autumn leaves seemed to show the transience of the human world, and it was truly a superb view.

If you walk in Hirosaki Park in late autumn, there is a spot where you can see the autumn leaves through the gate. Besides the cherry blossom season, Hirosaki Castle is full of attractions.

Higanbana with the onset of autumn When it comes to autumn, we tend to focus on the autumn leaves, but higanbana also tells us the beginning of autumn. The whole area was higan flowers, and it was red as if there was a red carpet on it. This photo was taken at Miyakuyama Natural Forest Park in Gunma Prefecture. It was just evening, and I was able to take the picture at a good time when the red shines well with the gentle yellowish light.

In September, summer is over, and autumn is about to come, this "higanbana" that blooms just at the turn of the season. When I see them blooming every year, I feel lonely at the end of summer, and I think that it is autumn from now on. This photo was taken at Sakai Ontake Natural Forest Park in Gunma Prefecture. It was just sparkling with sunlight filtering through the trees in the crowds, so I tried to emphasize the glitter.

When you go down the stairs of the rocks, there is a promenade at the end of which there is a "large spout" where hot water and steam of 98°C are gushing out violently. Fresh green in spring, autumn leaves. And in winter, you can enjoy the large icicles "shigakko" that descend into the canyon. The reason I started photography was because I saw a wonderful photo of Cosmos on the Internet. I wanted to take such wonderful photos myself. In a place that is not crowded now, the three brothers are in full bloom, about to bloom, and buds. This photo was taken in the autumn of the year of the Great Tohoku Earthquake, and the cosmos was blooming vigorously.

A famous place for autumn leaves "Jogakura Bridge". The congestion at peak times can be quite a bit, but it should be a sight worth seeing even if you go through that much effort. You can also stop at the parking lot at both ends of the bridge and walk across the bridge to overlook the Jogakura Gorge. This is the autumn foliage scenery of the Kinhana Valley in Ichinoseki City, Iwate Prefecture. Xiangbang Valley is one of the 100 Japan Scenic Spots, and is a valley of about 2 km that was formed by the erosion of limestone by the Sunatetsu River. Cliffs about 100 meters high stand on both banks, and the flow of the mountain stream is very quiet. On the boat descent, the boatman skillfully maneuvers the boat with a single rod and tells you "Geibi Oiwake". Of course, the autumn leaves are splendid, but when the wisteria flowers bloom in the season of fresh greenery, they are also quaint and emotional.
