It is a huge banyan located on Mt. Oishirinyama in the northern part of the main island of Okinawa. There are four trekking courses on Mt. This photo was taken one year ago on February 19. It was near the end of bloom, and I was running hard to find the living cherry blossoms. It was raining at that time, so it was hard to take pictures. This year, it seems to be blooming from the beginning of January. In Okinawa, cherry blossoms bloom in winter, and when cherry blossoms are needed, they are already scattered and become just trees. I wish it would bloom around April lol.

It's already late to see the cherry blossoms in Okinawa in March. It doesn't flutter, but it's dark pink and cute. By the way, this was taken on 2/19. It was almost over.
