It looks like they have some really nice parks in the area as well. It looks like it'd be a really great place to go out on a boat on a sunny day. Also looks like it'd be a nice place to catch some fish as well, I wonder if it's allowed here? I guess there are some hot springs in the area as well. The whole area would probably make for a really nice weekend trip or even maybe you could even spend a week here in the spring and go hiking as well. I guess it's Nara so it's not too surprising that there's so much amazing stuff to see!

Awesome! The cherry blossoms here are so bountiful! I like the sign as well. I've always wondered how these signs are made actually. It kind of looks like woodburning but at the same time I'm not so sure if that's the case. Either way, looks cool! I've not heard of Shingu Castle until now, but it looks like it was one of the castles torn down in the Meiji Period. From my understanding they're working to restore it so I wonder how it's coming along. I like visiting ruins though, so maybe before they finish rebuilding it I can make my way over there to see them lol. Obviously I'd like to see the restoration, but ruins are just as cool in my opinion. They have their own uniqueness to them!
