A photo I took a few years ago during a trip to Osaka! A waterfall at Mino Park during late spring/early winter. I'd like to visit here again during autumn, as I imagine that the leaves around the waterfall and the rest of the area would look really beautiful. One thing I really liked about Osaka was the contrast of the city to this national park. Also there is tons of cool stuff to see near Dotonbori, especially with all the food vendors and stuff in the area. From my understanding, Mino Park is apparently one of Japan's smallest national parks but it was actually a pretty long walk to get to the waterfall. If I remember correctly it took about 40 minutes and we were moving at a pretty good pace. It was a good workout though lol! Hope I can visit again soon after the pandemic ends!

This is the autumn foliage scenery of the Kuzumaru River mountain stream in Hanamaki City, Iwate Prefecture. The upper reaches of the Kuzumaru River, which flows from the bosom of the Ou Mountains, are attractive spots with beautiful scenery throughout the four seasons. This place also appears in Kenji Miyazawa's fairy tales, but it seems to have a nostalgic atmosphere somewhere. The splash of the waterfall is shining on the far left, but I like the fairy tale atmosphere, so I will post it.

This is the autumn foliage scenery of Komata Gorge in Kitaakita City, Akita Prefecture. Komata Gorge is dotted with more than 100 waterfalls, holes and abysses of various sizes from the primeval forest of the Noro River at the eastern foot of Mt. Moriyoshi, and is designated as a natural monument of scenic beauty by the prefecture. As it is called "the last unexplored area of Akita Prefecture", you can enjoy the powerful scenery. It is common to get there by car to Taiping Lake and cross it by pleasure boat. After about 30 minutes on the Lake Taihei sightseeing boat, you will arrive at the Komata Gorge Pier, and from there, a 1.8 km mountain trail is maintained, and as you proceed along the mountain trail, you will gradually see Yokotaki Falls, Kumataki Falls, Gama Pool, Sankaku Falls, Anataki Falls, Kanotaki, Kanotaki, Kano Falls, Kano Weir, and Kanonanata Falls, and at the end of the road, a powerful "Sankai Falls" with a height of about 20 meters appears.

It is Yasunotaki Falls in Kitaakita City, Akita Prefecture. The Nakanomata Valley, where this waterfall is located, is formed at the deepest part of Okuani for about 8 km. Annotaki has a drop of about 90 meters, is a beautiful two-stage waterfall, and the surrounding scenery is beautiful, and it is a famous waterfall that was selected as the second place in the "100 Best Waterfalls of Japan". If you're lucky, you can see a beautiful rainbow over the waterfall.

It is Sorino Falls (vertical composition) in Hachimantai in Iwate Prefecture. Hachimantai is a 1,614 m high mountain and surrounding plateau that straddles Akita and Iwate prefectures. It is included in Hisaya Fukada's Japan 100 Famous Mountains, and this mountain area is designated as Towada-Hachimantai National Park. Sorino Falls is located on the east side of the Oba Valley, about 2 km away. It is a waterfall located in the Kumazawa River system (Nakanosawa), which originates from Mt. Akitayake, and has a drop of 25 meters, showing a particularly beautiful scenery during the autumn foliage season. The rocks that form this waterfall are called andesite, which is one of the igneous rocks. It's not that far away, so why don't you try it lightly? However, since it is a normal mountain road on the way, sneakers, boots, and mountaineering boots are recommended.
