Todaiji Temple I visited Nara Park on a family trip. It was my first time to go during the cherry blossom season and I was able to enjoy the cherry blossoms in full bloom. The collaboration between Nara's wonderful cherry blossoms and deer, which are said to be messengers of the gods, is sacred and seems to reflect the four seasons of Japan even more wonderfully. Nara Park and Todaiji Temple, which show various expressions in each season, are really recommended sightseeing spots.

Today, I would like to introduce "chibiphoto" post "Dawn of Mount Yoshino in Nara Prefecture". The foggy and Japan scenery is impressive. Mount Yoshino 吉野山, Yoshinoyama is a general term for mountain ridges that stretch for about 8 km at the northern end of the Omine mountain range in Yoshino Town, Yoshino District, Nara Prefecture, Japan. The entire mountain has been certified as a World Heritage Site as "Sacred Sites and Pilgrimage Routes in the Kii Mountain Range". In spring, about 30,000 cherry trees color Mt. This is the filming location of the morning drama "Asaga has come". Imai Town. There is also a house that was used in a commercial for "Iemon". Nice townscape. There are also fashionable cafes. Settles down.

The next day returning from my two and a half months travel in Europe, I visited Nara, one of the most historical cities in Japan, with my friends. Compared to the cool weather in Europe, the Japanese summer was too hot for me. It seems like it was too hot for the deers too. I wanted to jump in with them!

It is Hasedera Temple in Nara Prefecture. At Hasedera Temple, the historical buildings and flowers that bloom in each season are beautiful, and it is also called the "Temple of Flowers". A staircase of 399 steps leads to the main hall, and there is also a five-storied pagoda at the back. The autumn foliage season is famous and there are many tourists.

It is located in Nara Prefecture Tsubosaka-dera Temple During the cherry blossom season, cherry blossoms bloom around the Big Buddha. It is called the Great Buddha of Cherry Blossoms.

It is around Kasuga Taisha Shrine in Nara Prefecture. The citrus fruits were growing in a flutter, and on the vermilion torii gate, it seemed to represent a bountiful harvest.

Cosmos and temple towers

I wanted to take a picture of the flowers after it rained, and I heard that the higan flowers were blooming a lot, so I went to take a picture. The location is Kujinji Temple in Gose City, Nara Prefecture. I'm a camera beginner, so I don't know what kind of composition I should take to take a beautiful picture, so this photo is my favorite photo that I was able to take as a result of trial and error.

Some more photos I took at Todaiji Temple. The first statue is of Vaisravana 多聞天/毘沙門天, another of the Four Heavenly Kings, holding a staff and some sort of small pagoda,. The second statue is Cintamanicakra 如意輪観音, a bodhisattva. The third photo is a unfortunately poor quality photo of Vairocana, the Cosmic Buddha from my understanding. The rest of the photos are models of Todaiji's Great Buddha Hall from 800 and 300 years ago, and Nandai-mon, the Great South Gate. The pagoda is, from my understanding, a replica of one of the lost pagodas that used to be located at Todaiji Temple, but I believe was burnt down? I could be wrong about that though. Then last is a photo of the heads of Virudhaka 増長天left, and Dhrtarastra 持国天right, two of the Four Heavenly Kings. Lots of cool stuff to be seen at Todaiji! Definitely recommend it. My photos don't do it justice at all.

I found some photos of when I visited Todaiji Temple. I took a photo of the bronze lantern out front of the temple because I thought it looked really cool, but it's pretty crazy to think that the lantern is around 1,300 years old at this point. I also took some photos of a few of the statues inside the temple, the first being Akasagarbha 虚空蔵菩薩, one of the Eight Great Bodhisattva, and the second which took me forever to find the name of... being Virupaksa 広目天, one of the Four Heavenly Kings. I'm not sure what Virupaksa is made of but I think this statue is made of wood, although I could be wrong. It looks like a different material from the other statues inside the temple, although it's been quite a while since I visited and I can't recall exactly. All the statues are really awesome though. I'll have to upload some more photos later!

This is a friendly deer I met in Nara Park. Even if I don't have deer crackers, I want to see them again with some kind of expectation and chase right behind me. I'm sure there are few people visiting Nara Park in Corona, and the deer may be lonely. When the corona subsides, I want to give a lot of deer crackers.

This place where you can spend a quiet time, a place where you can heal your tired mind, is a place you definitely want to visit after corona. I decided to call it the heart of a small tree found on the mountain where the dragon shrine is located in the land of begging for rain, "the heart of the dragon".

What a beautiful photo! It actually reminded me of the Takeda Castle Ruins. All of the amazing autumn foliage and the sea of clouds in the area. Dang it, now I have to come here in two different seasons lol! I already knew the cherry blossoms were amazing on Mt. Yoshino but now I have to see the autumn foliage as well and hopefully the sea of clouds along with it. I love that you can see Kinpusenji Temple as well. I guess it's a World Heritage Site and I'd love to see it. I wonder if there are any nice inns up here as well. It'd be an amazing experience to stay the night up on the mountain after sightseeing in the area with all the natural scenery and the temple and then have some kaiseki cuisine at a nearby inn... But now I'm just getting myself excited and hungry haha. I'll have to do a bit more research later!

Finally, the repair of the east tower was completed, and the east and west towers were all visible at Yakushiji Temple. Moreover, the full moon rising from this pond and the temple can only be seen together a few times a year. Meanwhile, on this day, exquisite clouds hung over the full moon like a picture, and a very fantastic scenery spread, as if I had traveled back in time 1300 years ago.
