[Isehara flower information] 3.01 Okame cherry blossoms along the Oyama New Road... Began to bloom It's March from today. It seems that a graduation ceremony was held at a high school in Isehara City, and I felt the arrival of Spring. It is ♪ also a spring letter from Oyama Along the Oyama Shindo (bypass), which runs for about 3 kilometers, Okame cherry blossoms are planted and pink flowers are beginning to bloom. The tree at the foot of the tree is still a young tree, so it seems to have a thin trunk and bloom early. Overall, I think the flowering is a little early this year due to the warm weather. It looks like it will be in full bloom next week. If you can see the flowers from the car window, it will be fun to drive.

Introducing popular sightseeing spots in Kanagawa Prefecture! 【Azumayama Park】 A scenic park famous for its "early-blooming rape blossoms" Located in Ninomiya Town, Azumayama Park is a scenic spot overlooking the majestic Mt. Fuji and Sagami Bay. In January ~ February, about 60,000 "early-blooming rape flowers" are in full bloom, and the slopes near the summit are covered with a yellow carpet. It takes about 20 minutes to get to the summit. There are several courses, but if you are a first-timer, we recommend the "Town Hall Exit Course", which is the closest to Ninomiya Station. The path with the sunlight shining through the trees is comfortable, and you can have a picnic on the lawn at the top of the mountain, and a peaceful time is flowing. In addition, the famous long slide with a total length of 102m is very popular with children! In late March, it's a spectacular coaster that runs through a tunnel of cherry blossoms in full bloom. Azaleas, hydrangeas, cosmos, etc., it is a park where you can enjoy the rich colors of each season. ■ Basic Information 【Address】Ninomiya-cho, Naka-gun, Kanagawa Phone number: 0463-72-3611 【Access】 About a 5-minute walk from the north exit of JR Ninomiya Station

[Odawara Flower Garden] 2024 Ume Plum Festival ~About 300 varieties and 500 plum trees are in full bloom~ The "Ume Plum Garden of the Mountain Stream" is a colorful Ume Plum Garden that boasts the largest number of varieties in the Kanto region, with about 500 Ume plum trees of about 300 varieties planted from early to late blooming. This year's theme is "The Shape of Flowers ~The Individual Charm Created by Petals~". Here are the differences in the shape of the flowers and the way they bloom for each variety. Please enjoy the beauty of the delicate Ume plum. In 2024, keep an eye on Ume Plum! This year's theme is "Red Ume Plum ~Bright Flower Ume Plum~", and we will focus on Ume Plum. The difference between "red Ume plum" and "white Ume plum" is not the color of the flower, but the color of the pith when the trunk of the tree is cut. This year, we will focus on surprisingly unknown ways to distinguish them and the characteristics of "Ume Plum". Please enjoy the charm of "Red Ume Plum" at the quiz rally and explanation board set up in the Ume Plum Garden.

In the precincts of Hyuga Yakushi, beautiful drooping Ume plums are planted, and the appearance side by side with the lanterns is tasteful. There is a Ume plum orchard in the back mountain. Small and pretty white Ume plums are beginning to bloom here and there. I found a Ume plum tree in a sloping place in the sports park. This is also a bright pink red Ume plum. There are cherry blossom trees around it, and it is a spot where you can enjoy flowers throughout spring. Maruyama Castle Park is lined with Ume plum trees that seem to be more than 3 meters tall. It is an event to pray for a healthy and happy life this year and to exorcise evil spirits. There is a saying that if you eat as many times as your age, you will be happy. At three shrines in Isehara City, a grand mamemaki (bean throwing) is held in the precincts. A bean-sowing officer dressed as an event priest lines up on a special stage and scatters lucky beans all at once with shouts. It contains beans and lotteries stored in a baby bag, and local children pick them up with great enthusiasm. At Hibita Shrine, the Oni Yarai Shinto ritual is a highlight. It has become a traditional event. By the way, if you sow beans in the house, won't one of the beans you sowed at the end of the year cleaning come out?
